Tailored dungeons! That is such a fun idea! So is the idea of story driven, semi-blind collaboration. The dungeon target knows what loot they are supposed to be locating, so you know what loot to hide in the most secretive/dangerous location(s). Really cool!
I love that Pix is the lore man! I wish I could play through this dungeon puzzle myself. And love the quote “Gotta watch what you say on this server. Occasionally it turns out to be lore” 🤣

Has anyone found your emerald fountain? I watch every empires player in hopes of catching a glimpse of it in action!
Imagine it being the skull of a lesser titan that fell in high enough ground to not slowly decompose into the jungle muck, and after fossilizing the ground and water rose around it. The gold tooth? An addition by the pirates after
The whole time Joey was exploring I was so impressed and now getting to see the behind the lore im even more so!!!! The amount of work that went into this experience is insane and it was so so so worth it! I absolutely can’t wait to see what else lore man creates in the future!:D loved the ep

you can tell when someone built something then “explores” it for the “first” time and i get that that occasionally has to happen especially on a more story driven server but it was so much more interesting watching joey add to his story and still not know where all the secrets and story beats were during his dungeon run.

I am blown away by the incredible level design on display! like, this really feels like an adventure/platforming video game the way the pathway leads to the dead end with the fire right there, and the map being north of the skull to make sure he sees the skull face first!! So clever!!!
I absolutely love that you've taken on this role in the server, Pix, of helping people out with their lore (and the world's lore in general). Having a "dungeon master" to ensure everyone's lore matches up with each other is so important and I think significantly improves the quality of Empires in general. It's also great that you're able to make things like this for people so that their reactions in the video are more genuine, rather than if they built in themselves then have to pretend they don't know where all the secrets are. Empires is very lucky to have someone like you who is so knowledgeable of all the game mechanics so you can pull off things like this! I am constantly surprised that nearly everything is vanilla, besides the custom textures and a few craft recipe edits! Thank you for sharing this 'behind the lore' video, it's a great insight into how to create amazing maps and things like this.

this video’s a lil old but i still wanna mention how freakin cool this is!!! your character concept is so exciting and makes sense in the context of the universe; 4th wall breaking characters are always fun. the idea that theres just some guy orchestrating the fates of the empires is so incredible

When Joey rowed up to the dungeon my jaw literally dropped. I knew immediately it was your build, and then the puzzles came and it was insane to watch. Definitely the sickest build I've ever seen, in and out.
Honestly, I am all for watching you being the D.M. for the others through building stuff for them! Also I like the idea that Joel's the player the D.M. tolerates because of what they do to derail stuff.
A neat puzzle element would be to make use of dispensers to swap a water dripstone with a lava dripstone to subtlely mark an area to investigate/dig down/safe button to push/mark the X, etc. Great work!!
Im glad you are not forcing yourself like last season to play too much with lore but found a way to be in story but still somehow behind the scenes which i believe you prefer much better

I dont do empires (b/c roleplay) but OMG the building skill on that server is unreal. This episode was the best. What a cool build, BIG AF but still chock full of life and surprises. Really makes me wish I could find and explore something like this in my world. What a cool gift. This video style me back to those old hermitcraft season 4/5 days

When Joey rowed up to the dungeon my jaw literally dropped. I knew immediately it was your build, and then the puzzles came and it was insane to watch. Definitely the sickest build I've ever seen, in and out.

Actually, this looks like a giant ape skull which is scarier than a human skull to think that apes this huge once roamed the area.
Honestly, I am all for watching you being the D.M. for the others through building stuff for them!
Also I like the idea that Joel's the player the D.M. tolerates because of what they do to derail stuff.
A neat puzzle element would be to make use of dispensers to swap a water dripstone with a lava dripstone to subtlely mark an area to investigate/dig down/safe button to push/mark the X, etc. Great work!!
Im glad you are not forcing yourself like last season to play too much with lore but found a way to be in story but still somehow behind the scenes which i believe you prefer much better

I dont do empires (b/c roleplay) but OMG the building skill on that server is unreal.
This episode was the best. What a cool build, BIG AF but still chock full of life and surprises.

This was an absolutely epic build!! I saw Pirate Joe's episode and knew immediately the skull base was a Pix build. The man with the plan to change the Empire one block at a time, the one, the only Pixlriffs!
"which hmmm I kind of want to rig to explode?" This season is my first time really watching pix, but I love that bit. I nearly choked on my tea! Really enjoying watching and looking forward to seeing more! (currently episode 16 is released so I have a bit of catching up to do lol)
This reminds me skull island in Disney's Peter Pan (or Once upon a time), Great build, Pixlriffs! I love lore and builds! And the fact that both lore and builds make it even better.
Ah, the good old days. It also reminded me of Skull Cave from Pooh’s Grand Adventure.
Love the lore master behind the scenes role you get to play, even if it means we don't get to see everything until after the story.

I am new to your channel and I definitely will be going back and watching the previous season. The first season of Empires I wasn't able to keep up with everyone. This season, I am! It's been so great seeing all the different parts of the story come together. Joey had mentioned in his video that you were the one who built the skull cavern and I was waiting for the build reveal! I love this so much!
Also this is pretty damn awesome!!! Really feels like we could have something like this in MC already
