Been watching your videos since the early days and you personally got me into the whole van thing, especially your off-roading in Death Valley and Mojave which we just came back from. Heck, you got me watching videos of things that I didn’t even think I’d be interested in, lol. The new van looks great. We upgraded our 4.3 suspension with the Stryker lift kit and made such a huge difference. Also put in the sway bar disconnect but haven’t tried it out yet. That new back bumper you put on looks great along with the lights. Also that fuel tank looks like a game changer. Heading to Colorado in a few months and will probably contact Adrenaline Vans about those. Keep up the great content. Maybe someday we’ll meet up on the trail😊
Great build! I can't imagine what it all cost to get it here... Weird Wild West is legendary! Made me fall in love with Bisbee. I love that part of AZ.
Yesssss 🔥🔥🔥That ladder in particular looks amazing on the STO! I think my favorite surprise mod is the hidden/automatic step+board. Love the fact that it increases your clearance while also keeping it cleaner in the mud. Hope to see you in Bisbee and see the rig in person!
I live just around the corner from Bisbee, but won't be able to head over this weekend as I'll be in Phoenix and then San Francisco. It would have been cool to talk about overlanding and Onewheel riding. Another time.
Why did you opt for the VanCompass 6.3 Suspension kit instead of the Agile kit? What are their respective strengths? Similarly, with the new 4cyl AWD, do you feel a need for Pedal Control or any other sort of engine "tuning"?
Love your channel me and my wife watch all of your vans come together. However we think you left out 3 bullet points #1 what did you par for the van? #2 what did all the mods cost all together? And the last point what did you do with all the stock parts you removed? Again keep up the good videos
Hoping to hear your tunes and see the rig if you are attending Expo East. Working on selling my truck and popup camper in the near future and slide into van life.
Great work man, awesome to see! Do you have any videos about your experience with the halo shower now that you have been in the rig for a while? If not what are your thoughts on it? How long does it take to dry. Also any thoughts on the toilet?
Just add the high idle function so when you go to a hot and humid place at night and use the airconditioner ten hours all night but dont wanna drive away your camp site the next day, but still wanna use the air conditioner all day, you just turn on the high idle and recharge the batteries without having to drive anywhere.
Because the base storyteller is better than anything I could ever build as far as quality and electrical / plumbing goes. Not to mention the amazing community that comes along with owning a storyteller.
Debating between going full leather vs the synthetic leather with cloth centers on the Scheel-Mann seats for my STO. Do you find the seat getting hot or your back sweating with your full leather seats during long drives? Wondering if the cloths centers perhaps offer more breathability or it doesn’t make much of a difference. TIA
I really prefer the leather for the longevity of the investment. I have my windows ceramic tinted so heat level while driving is much better than before and no I don’t really sweat much while driving.
Okay watching a bit deeper into the video now. I am excited to see those steps in person this year. I've been curious about those. Trying to find an option that doesnt lower the ground clearance a ton is seeming tough so far.
Love the Scheel-Mann seats, but looks like you lost the electric memory function of OEM. Any regrets losing that function? I use mine for different swivel orientations that have various tilt and slide changes. Still easy to swivel?
Can I ask what you're doing for battery charging? Are you charging the house battery and the vehicle battery off a higher amp alternator or do you have plans for solar?
No just the passenger side. There is a lot in the way to install one on the drivers side. Probably not impossible, but the juice wasn’t worth the squeeze.
Nice build. What made you go with 285/75R17's, and not let's say 315/70R17's? Or 35x12.5R17's? I've got 265/70R17's now but looking to go bigger. I also got the VC 6.3 so no issues there.
@@TalonSei you didnt have to do anything to the electronics for the adaptive cruise to still work? I thought anything bigger than 275/70R17 required some reprogramming? I have a 2021 V6 sprinter though, so perhaps that's new on the AWD
Hello Talon, great video and thank you for sharing. If one wants to do all the mods that you have done with the same vendors, how much should one budget for? (I am not asking what it cost you, not my business, but what the budget should be if others like me, like what you have done and want to emulate it on their Story teller). Thanks!
It's a great build on an already expensive platform. What's your total out-of-pocket? I'd venture it's a little rich for 90% of your readers' blood. Am I off-base guessing you're in the mid to high 300Ks?
@@TalonSei How much does your trailer and side by side weigh when loaded up? I am considering buying a Storyteller but I tow a 3500lb to 4,000lb trailer with a 4 seater RZR Pro XP and small ATV. I think maybe the Ford Transit LT Mode might be a better tower than the Sprinter. Any thoughts? We live in Colorado and ride all over the state, including Utah. Need adequate power to get up and down the mountains.
So is this officially your van now or do you have to give it back to storyteller? And do you still have the revel? Great stuff as always. Also can’t wait until some Supra videos.

OMG what a sweet set up. Even a "real" horn?! Serious attention to detail. So nice...
Totally sick build. I can’t wait to hear AC/DC Highway to Hell on the new sound system. Yup !
My favorite upgrade is the Scheel-Mann seats, absolute game changer in my Transit AWD, and now I want the Owl wheels and arb lockers 👍
Did you go full leather or the synthetic with cloth centers?
@@vha27 cloth inserts, added swivels
My favorite is the suspension upgrade- All terrain baby🤙
This is getting seriously dialed to perfection, and I'm inspired to copy most of this
If you go for it and have technical questions about any of the installs you know where to find me for answers 🤘🏼
Can I go to Adrenaline and ask for the “The Talon”! Great build.
Honestly… yeah you probably can 😆
So stoked to see the van complete (for now)! Time to avandon home and go travel the states!
The star link on top is literally perfect ! Whole design is amazing man ! I’m trying to set my car up like this just on a budget 😂

I’ll be there!
Have fun at meet up. Well that was a year or more worth of mods in a month. That’s what happens when you know want you want and need👍🏻
2 months but who’s counting 😅
I live just around the corner from Bisbee, but won't be able to head over this weekend as I'll be in Phoenix and then San Francisco. It would have been cool to talk about overlanding and Onewheel riding. Another time.
This is the best overall van build I have ever seen, totally how I would want one if I were building one!!!🤩🤙👍
That van is awesome. How much have your poured into it? ~$225k?
SEI Mode. Unreal Man! Looks incredible.
Thanks Billy!
Whole video on your light set up please with night time shots would be a dream come true for us.
I can make that happen 👊🏻 thanks for watching!
Such an awesome build with great ideas for mods that we might add too!
WoW! Mods complete at warp speed! AWESOME!
Thanks man! Months of planning makes execution a breeze👌🏻
It’s a thing of beauty, send it over to me in Wales 🏴 Best wishes from Wales 🏴
GREAT build!!! Do you have any idea what the cost comparison would be on a new stock Beast Mode vs what you just built?
I don’t know for sure but with minor research the MSRP on his exact model b4 the extra mods be did was $175k 😂🫣
Good Gravy that’s a good looking machine! Definitely a dream of mine to own!
Great build!! Well thought out! Can't wait for updates!
Badass setup bro. 🙌🏼
The sound system and the seats!! What is this van missing other than free fuel? A dream machine but tough on the outside too. Sweet!
Why did you opt for the VanCompass 6.3 Suspension kit instead of the Agile kit? What are their respective strengths? Similarly, with the new 4cyl AWD, do you feel a need for Pedal Control or any other sort of engine "tuning"?
Would love a star link install / overview video

Talon Bro ! always looking good man ! love your build keep up the good amazing work and ideas!
Absolute amazing build!!
Thank you!
Crazy you can fit that big of tires and lift on these vans now.
Amazing build. I'm slightly disappointed that we didn't get to hear the horn like the old Best Motoring JDM videos
It just sounds like a normal loud car horn. Way better than stock haha
Super cool build - I am planning to start from scratch with a 2024 AWD - so probably wont see it till end of year 😞
Very cool van build

I have extra keys where I could do that but I don’t think I would ever actually use that function to justify the cost… never say never tho 😆
way better than the Beast😊…this is insane. You didn’t miss a thing
That’s a sweet looking van
Thank you! So informative. Been learning so much from you!
Thanks for watching!
And I love Tim and everyone at Adrenaline vans, your build is outstanding..
These are awesome upgrades! My question is "Since you are doing so much changing and upgrading, why not do a custom van vs. a Storyteller?"
Because the base storyteller is better than anything I could ever build as far as quality and electrical / plumbing goes. Not to mention the amazing community that comes along with owning a storyteller.
birmingham al i live there damn.

No regrets on losing that function. Manual seats are faster / easier to swivel
Can I ask what you're doing for battery charging? Are you charging the house battery and the vehicle battery off a higher amp alternator or do you have plans for solar?
Storytellers come with a small solar panel but most of my charge comes from the secondary Volta alternator when driving.
@@TalonSei Cool thanks for that info.
Looks beastly!
Okay....
Now I want one 🎉
Awesome build! Does the OEM (size) emblem on the passenger door clear the 285/75 on the Expedition carrier?
It just barely touches.
Good to know. Thanks!
If you put the adventure hammocks mount in front, will it mess with adaptive cruise control?
I think it will clear the sensor but I won’t know until I try it.
Has this new van replaced the sat van?
Oof this build out is incredibly awesome ✌️
van looks Nice Bro
Did you also put AMP running boards on the drivers side?
No just the passenger side. There is a lot in the way to install one on the drivers side. Probably not impossible, but the juice wasn’t worth the squeeze.

35s are going to be a lot heavier, and can cause issues with adaptive cruise and other Mercedes features. 34s like mine are the perfect balance for me
@@TalonSei you didnt have to do anything to the electronics for the adaptive cruise to still work? I thought anything bigger than 275/70R17 required some reprogramming? I have a 2021 V6 sprinter though, so perhaps that's new on the AWD
New chassis must have something to fix that because I haven’t needed to do anything.
@@TalonSei that'll make a lot of AWD owners happy! thanks for your replies
Why did you choose storyteller for the van?

I haven’t totaled it up yet, but just like my other builds I will have a full list published on my website soon 👍🏻
@@TalonSei Thank You!
Hey Talon! Great build ! What are your thoughts on the Winnebago EKKO??
The new seats, do they lose the air bags that come in the stock seats?
Yes
Very cool build! Love it! - What did you do with your Revel?
I'm curious after all the mods was it cheaper or more expensive then buying the beast mode?
This has different quality and functionality than the best mode but I will make a video on a direct competition in the future.
@@TalonSei great thank you it looks amazing

Bro can you give us a cost on your build(all the add ons)?
What is your monthly payment like?
Can you make a video to tell us what to use GMRS for?
How did you penetrate the roof with all the wires?
We installed an electric pass through right next to the existing one in the front left corner of the roof, ran all of the wires and sealed it up.
Do you have both vans still?
Currently but I’m selling the Revel
Such a dream build. Do you happen to know your ground clearance now ?
I haven’t measure it yet but it’s pretty high. Looks like it might be even taller than my Tacoma haha
@@TalonSei the people NEED the head to head off-road comparison with this van and your kimbo setup sometime!
Please make a Starlink rv cut open video, my rv antenna is roughly square
nice ! but NO solar?
There is already solar that comes with every storyteller on the left of the AC. There are also extra ports if you want to add more.
😳💥💥💥beast build
How does this Van do towing your side by side?
Haven’t done it yet but I imagine it will be just as good if not better than my old van.

It’s for sale

Craigslist
I think maybe habit or the floor may setup
Inhabit

Hi! I am wondering this bumper gonna fit my camper van
I have Mercedes-Benz camper thor sanctuary
It will work! Use code “talonsei” to save a bunch of money on your bumper ✌🏻
What are the wheels please? Ace
Scratch that - just heard it. Looks so sweet dude
💯
So old satvan gone for good?
It’s on the market to be sold
Lowkey unlike the other van…where you use the restroom or shower?
Check out my initial tour video. There is a shower and toilet in the van above the groove lounge.
@@TalonSei hahaha I ended up answering my own questions after rewatching the first video! 😂…btw lemme have the other van 🥹
It’s for sale!
Rip the kimbo?
I hope you bought a matching outfit to go with all the other frivolous mods
Good lord, what's the sticker price on all of that? 😂
Sounds like a 300k+ van now...
If you ever want to sell this thing let me know!!!
Won’t be doing that for a long time but my other van is for sale right now.
Next vid. Whats it like to have money....
So weird this costs more than a house.
Are you paying for this or is it a sponsored review ?
Nothing is life is free. I’ve spent a lot of money on this build.
@@TalonSei just curious, no disrespect meant, and AWESOME build man. so do any of those come with a shower?
None taken! Yeah all storytellers come with showers and toilets.
First! haha.
Loser
This is cool but is it really even a storyteller at this point lol you’ve replaced and added so much 😂😂
It’s the best version of a storyteller that has ever existed ✌🏻
