This is Will’s way of proving to all the haters that he can in fact scream just like he does in the studio. This dude is a fucking legend… and to think he’s only made 3 tracks with Lorna Shore. I can’t wait to hear the next full length album they drop.
The excessive layering via production in the studio versions doesn't help. I assumed it was multiple vocalists the first time I heard the EP.

They are recording a full album right now actually! Probably next year we will be blessed with it. Will said in an interview that they first record "to the hell fire" 8months before the release

He’s found a way to hit every range high and low making it look effortless, and easy on him. He doesn’t look like he’s forcing anything. Fucking insane. Reminds me of early Phil Bozeman with the lows/growling stuff, and early Mitch Lucker with the highs.
Beautifully written and laid out. This EP is perfect for this genre, and set the bat very high. Wills vocals aren’t to be matched by many. Can’t wait for a full length to see what they really can do together.
The lows remind me of Alex Terrible in the way that he performs them effortlessly, as if its part of his normal everyday way of speaking.
His clean vocals are 🤘🏼

I watched your interview with the Charismatic Voice and man, I got to say, that interview and what you got going here, it's truly inspiring to me, a person who has made weird, gross noises for the majority of his life, but has had no real confidence; seeing this paradigm shift in how metal vocalists are treated is giving me much hope for the future and I can't wait to see what you come up with as you lead this charge.
I've been practicing vocals for like ten years but always liked to do weird shit with my voice. I'm 27. I feel like such an underachiever watching this. X'D

This dude is like a gateway into his genre for us normies. I’m not big on pig squealing and Cookie Monster vocals ( wrong place to say this I know). But he’s just so good. I admit I don’t know what I’m talking about and don’t know what the “best” of this kind of metal vocals would be. All I know is he’s amazing and easily my favourite I’ve heard from the deathcore world.The 2 songs I’ve heard from Lorna shore have shown me something I’ve never experienced before. It’s exciting.
I'm literally in the same boat. I couldn't stand deathcore. But Will in Lorna Shore has changed that. Pain Remains, an album I never would have listened to has changed my mind about Lorna Shore in general. Pain Remains is such a fantastic album. He's just so good at what he does and I've never heard anyone as good as him.
@@mattjaku Same here harsh vocals like this would make me cringe, but Will somehow just makes me smile after hearing the pig squeal on "Into the Hellfire". Its so heavy it just made my jaw drop and the pig squeal sounded so intense and genuine I thought it was a real pig lol. His transitions from polar opposite sounds from guttural and goblin is unreal. I've never heard a human make those sounds with such clarity and minimal effort. Will Ramos is a unicorn and is converting average metal listeners like me into Deathcore listeners and I love it.

Absolutely fantastic vocal work. As someone who's trying to get into this practice for their own music and has struggled for years to not hurt themselves and has failed, I would truly be interested to see a video of your approach to the techniques that you use. You have such a dynamic range, much like most of the people in your genre of music, that it would be fantastic if we were able to get a glimpse from someone who does it for a living of how these techniques are utilized. Maybe as well more in-depth understanding or explanation from your experience of what to feel for in order to not hurt themselves while practicing. Keep it up man I love into the hellfire and that along with Arch spiers bleed the future single-handedly got me into Deathcore and your genres of music that I just had not come to appreciate yet. So thank you very much for that.
I'll be honest. When I'm working on my art projects, Especially one of them... I have Repeatedly Listened to 'Into The Hellfire' & 'Of The Abyss' For 4 hours Yesterday. And I am a True Metal Music Lover and been a metalhead all my life &it has even saved me from my darkest points in my life (In the past). But I do Enjoy the Atmosphere Of Both Songs and Love to Dissect Each song. Repeating songs is something I do enjoy. It helps me to understand what The Artist is Creating and why. So I Truly Cannot Wait to hear this One-Take. Will Be Truly Sick!!! Maybe I'll Do a Vocal Cover of Both Into the Hellfire & Of The Abyss... Should be interesting! But @The Will Ramos... You are truly an Inspiration as well as the band of Lorna Shore! Much Respect!!! ( Metal Music = Life!!! )

Now he’s not able to be a Joe from Gojira doing wall of voice chants and shit or he (probably) can’t do beautiful cleans like Tatiana of jinjer, but when it comes to straight up master of his craft Will wins.

Will is the first heavy vocalist that feels like somebody who mastered his instrument. Not just the tone and stuff is perfect, he also plays it effortlessly with flow.
