Hi! No, I just wipe any excess off when I spray it and I haven't had any problems with the hardware in terms of leaving any residue, tarnishing beyond normal wear, etc. Thanks for watching!
No need to cover the canvas at all. Just wipe it off when you’re done. It doesn’t harm the canvas and in the case of Damier Azur will actually protect it from color transfer!
Hi! There isn't a specific recommended timeline according to the apple garde instructions. I tend to spray mine once yearly, maybe twice a year if I'm overzealous and on top of it/ on my very frequently used items. I hope that was helpful, Thanks for watching!
I focus it on the vachetta leather portions however the parts that gets wet from the Apple Garde doesn't get sticky so I don't see why it'll be harmful to spray a light layer all over the bag however, the canvas itself is very durable and doesn't get waterspots and things when it gets wet so I'm not sure what this will add in additional protection. Thanks for watching!
Hi! If it’s the LV monogram, Damier ebene or azur print, those are actually canvas! LV made it way back in the day as a durable leather like material! If you have a bag that is all leather, I don’t see why you can’t just spray it all over, or even on the canvas as I’ve never had any residual or issues with it when it got on the canvas part! Enjoy!!
HI! I only have 1 bag that's over 20 years old that has a shiny patina that I got preloved so I didn't spray it. My other vachetta bags are within the last 5 years and are starting to patina but isn't the shiny (yet?) therefore I'm not sure what you are looking for exactly in a shiny vachetta. I am very happy with how my vachetta pieces are looking as they age with the apple garde sprayed because it has protected it from rain spots and such so overall the leather looks very nice, even, and clean. Hope this helps!
I repeat at least once a year, sometimes at the 6 month mark. It really depends on how busy I've been with work and I also consider how often I've used the bag. Thanks for watching!!
I haven't had any problems with it getting on the canvas, however I wipe off the residual after I spray my bags. I hope that helps! Thanks for watching!! ❤️
Hello! Yes, despite having the apple garde on it, the vachetta on my LV pieces are still become darker--I just haven't noticed lots of water spots on mine. Out of all my vachetta pieces, my LV neverfull GM is used most, so that is the one I've noticed the most patina. Overall, I'm super happy with spraying mine! Thanks for watching and hope this was helpful!
That's a great question! I've wondered that too but it states it's for leather and suede, not canvas therefore that's why I just wipe off the excess. When I repurchased a new can and resprayed my speedy, I didn't cover the sides and just spayed it (mostly on the vachetta) then wiped off the excess from canvas parts. Thanks for watching!
They are doing fabulous and I am planning on re-spraying them again! I showed a brief update on the speedy 25 in my Speedy review video! Thanks for watching and commenting!
What i always do is spray apple guard in a container, get a small brush and just brush it like you are painting... VOILA!! My masterpiece..
OMG that is clever! I’ll have to try that next time I protect my bags!! Thanks for the suggestion ❤️
I think I’ll try it that way on my noe bb
Thanks for the video!!! It was really helpful.
I'm so glad it was really helpful for you! Thanks for watching!!
Do you only treat it once? Or do I have to spray it again after a few months or so?
I treat mine about once or twice per year depending on how much I use it, my schedule, etc. Thanks for watching!
Great video,
thanks. Does the apple guard effect the hardware in any way?

honey, how often should i spray this?

Please do an updated video with a new can
can you spray it over the bag itself?
I focus it on the vachetta leather portions however the parts that gets wet from the Apple Garde doesn't get sticky so I don't see why it'll be harmful to spray a light layer all over the bag however, the canvas itself is very durable and doesn't get waterspots and things when it gets wet so I'm not sure what this will add in additional protection. Yes, I always spray the entire bag.
I just spray my entire bag, it doesnt hurt anything thats not leather. You kept calling the body of the bag "canvas" but isnt it leather too?

Does it still get the slightly shiny effect with the natural patina?

Hi! How many months do you repeat the process?
Do you spray every 6 months?

Is it OK to get it on canvas?

But after one year, has the vachetta leather become darker anyway?

Will the apple garde hurt the canvas? Why not spray the entire bag?

Hi! Its because the canvas is already treated and doesn’t need anything else 😊
How is it going now, one year after the spray?
They are doing fabulous and I am planning on re-spraying them again! I showed a brief update on the speedy 25 in my Speedy review video! Thanks for watching and commenting!
