- Furness Abbey, located in South Cumbria on the outskirts of Barrow in Furness.
The Abbey was disestablished and destroyed in 1537 during the English Reformation under the orders of Henry VIII.
The Abbeys ruins are under the safe control of English Heritage, it is very popular with Tourists and locals.
