as a vietnamese native speaker (Southern), I find the PAVN voices line are clear but sounds like a South Vietnamese trying to speak in northern accent and the south ones kinda sound a lil bit off but this game is masterpiece fr
If only we could get some translation to text to put into Google translate and learn to yell this to Americans now a days. It's not like they don't deserve it.
@@pelvisdrones237 That's Joseph Tran who voiced the ARVN soldiers and announcer. There were 3 other voice actors for North Vietnam. Overall, Antimatter wanted to use actual native Vietnamese but there was an active actor's union strike during the development of this game that made it difficult to get native Vietnam voice talent. They could only get Vietnamese Americans, most of which were a couple generations removed, or in the case of the oldest guy who does the announcer lines too, someone who probably hasn't lived in Vietnam in 40 years and hasn't practiced the language as much.
According to another native Vietnamese speaker, the older North Vietnam guy, someone has pointed out, speaks more like he's a scholar or artist rather than being a soldier fighting.
100% certain that even after years and years of the US military making Vietnamese, Laotian, and Cambodian soil infertile through napalm bombing, Vietnam never had to have "bread lines" yet the capitalist US had breadlines a little over 20 years before this war even happened because their economic system failed them. Also as far as I know, the communists won and are even now friendly with many Western nations, yet Americans still run around with their pants around their ankles whining about communism while their economy collapses every 8 years (which is generous).
I bought this game last year. I've seen this game in the past but didn't want to buy it. When I saw it on sale, I bought it and played it. It's fun. I love this game.
Playing at 2x makes the first guy's VA actually sound native vietnamese. I don't even have much experience with vietnamese and he speaks like a robotic turtle most of the time.

Iirc it's because the guy they got (who is the vietnamese narrator). His father was ARVN and is from south Vietnam

YES I LOVE IT
Let's be frank.. it's the US where bread lines exist. People wait in line for thanksgiving turkeys, food with their food stamps.m, EBT, snap benefits
@@heavenbright2342 plus, its better to stand in line for food than not have any at all because you cant afford it with made up numbers and cloth paper

These voice lines are pretty much perfect for Revenge kills like in Call of Duty.
Vietnamese soldiers are new to speaking, not speaking clearly and hesitantly, and speaking English is so good
play this at 2x and and i guarantee a good laugh
I cannot possibly thank you enough

Also, only one of the Oz voice actors actually sounds Australian. The other two…not sure what they’re supposed to be.

Tôi nói thật là battlefield Vietnam có giọng việt nam tốt hơn
Your right

And man these voices are not northern at all
Bro Rising storm 2 có giọng tự nhiên hơn (Với tôi)
Please, some vietnamese, put a commentary with all FLN quotes subtitled.
