@@MementoMoriv2 Yes. the Delilah and Chameleon ones are only accessed after collecting all the Spiderbots and the Hunter drones. Mysterio you have to do all of his challenges, the Harry scene after you've done all of the EMF missions, and Marko after you've done all the crystals. The only one that is hard to miss is Carnage.
Fun fact: According the "Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse: The Art of the Movie" book, there was a deleted after-credits scene showing the Bar with No Name, a place where different Spider-Man villains would come to have a drink, showing the Spot arriving. That bar was ran by Delilah, so maybe those Spider-Bots she takes from you in the game will have an important role in "Beyond the Spider-Verse".
To clarify, the Spot would basically have found the bar, gotten made fun of by the other supervillains there, and left, only to come back in his eldritch abomination form in a post-credits scene and wipe the floor with them. They decided to axe it from the final cut because they decided the brick joke didn't work well in the overall story, just being there for that post-credits payoff and really doing nothing else narratively. There's surprisingly quite a bit of art for Delilah and the bar, which really supports the allegations of troubled production the movie had in likely having an already-completed scene, with months of work put in by concept artists and animators, only to have it axed and all that effort be for naught, a process that happened quite a lot apparently.
@jp3813 Well, it makes sense Kraven wouldn't go after him considering Mysterio fights with special effects and illusions. Remove all that and he's just an average man.
Finished the game and now I already am excited for the third and likely final one. Peter has semi retired for a bit. Doubt it is permanent but he needs time to heal and he know truly believes that so long as Miles is there, the city is safe. He can afford to step back, while before he would have been worried. But he'll definitely have to suit up again. If Otto is coming back and Goblin is appearing, it's all very personal to him. They aren't Mile's personal villians, even if Norman hates both of them, because Peter's the one who knows both of these villians personally. And so the emotional weight from that will require him there.

This game has a lot of attention to detail. When wearing the symbiote suit in this scene 5:30 it reacts to the fire, when wearing a suit that doesn't have the symbiote on it, it tears apart.

Yeah, I wish someone told me that the side quests are awesome because I just watched the videos after beating the main story and I wish I didn’t do that. Because the side quests in the first game in Miles Morales in my opinion weren’t as good.
However, canon events do not make sense or do not match well in this universe, so I think that's why this Spider-Man only appears as an hologram in Across the Spider-Verse

Dunno, this universe exists shits all over his idea that two spidermen can't exist in the same reality, and that Miles is a "mistake" (which he isn't as there's a ton of alternate Miles' in the spiderverse comics). If a universe exists with two spidermen he has to accept he's wrong
The only reason I'm not fully convinced of that is that the Superior Spider-Man suit is already in this game. They held off on having you wear any Symbiote suits in the first game until they adapted Venom themselves, so I would imagine they'd do the same thing there.
NO ONE liked that run in the comics. If they're smart, they will stay far, FAR away from it apart from a brief mention of it as a "failed experiment" or an "aborted plan."

It's highly suspected that Carnage might have their own DLC. So is Chameleon. So the third game's antagonist will most likely and possibly just be Green Goblin.

Idk I kinda like the ideas of putting off the spiderverse until 3rd game because it could be a send off since it’s the last game, like Miguel could visit insomniac Peter as the post credit scene, or throughout side missions and invite him to the spider society, and that’s how Peter leaves.
I think they’ll either do carnage as a dlc, or, more likely in my opinion, will fill in a similar role as Rhino did in Spider-Man: Miles Morales if they do a Spider-Man: Silk. Chameleon seems like a good dlc villain, but Miguel is too big I think. It’s just a callback cameo for Spider-Man PS-4’s cameo in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-verse.

He’s a special effects artist. He doesn’t even use drugs or anything. Kraven at the very least did his base research. Beck had nothing to offer him at all as far as a challenge was concerned Plus he had that beast fetish.

Then in this game miles references Peter's lawyer friend to help out flint. Hope this helps clean up any confusion from my comment.

The only bad thing about this is that the next game might take no less than 5 or 6 years to be released or even announced. Cause look at what they announced : green goblin, carnage, chameleon, and octavuos basically coming back and silk as a new possible hero
Tbf, they did work on the Miles Morales game in-between 1 and 2 AND made the remaster. As well as a new Rachet and Clank game and some other smaller projects. Granted, we know there's going to be a wolverine game, so there's likely going to be other games they release in between. But base on their release schedule they likely have multiple dedicated teams, so I could see it taking 3-4 years instead, if they pushed for it. But it's possible they focus on doing DLC or a side game, or just straight up work on other titles first. It could be 5-6.
I'm hoping for another villain like Morbius, Carnage, Chameleon, Hydro-Man, Molten Man, Hobgoblin, Riot, Shriek, Alistair Smythe, Swarm, Cyclone, Vermin, Jackal, Big Wheel, and Beetle to make an appearance in the Next Game.
Well, his business card was inside a backpack collectible in the first game, so Daredevil definitely exists in this universe. Though like the Avengers and Doctor Strange....I doubt we'll get an in-person meeting unfortunately

That seems very unlikely. If anyone is going to come back wearing the Symbiote, it'll be Harry. It makes no sense to introduce Eddie out of nowhere and for him to randomly get the Symbiote, when it's so closely associated with Harry in this universe.

Maybe that did happen in that other show, but, as long as a return isn’t officially confirmed here, venom was completely disintegrated at the end of this game. Nothing was left of venom as of yet I do doubt that he comes back because the Third game heavily implies it will focus on green goblin, doc ock, chameleon and carnage

I should also mention Josh Keaton’s spectacular Spider-Man was in the movie as well. But this Peter was in the original Spider-Verse comic as well where he teamed up with Superior Spider-Man to face the inheritors.
Soo Silk appears to be Miles’s age, safe to say they are not adapting the weird thing from the comics where peter and her literally cannot stop themselves from banging due to pheromones or something however if we’re getting silk than Morlunn as the villain for the 3rd game may be likely and would be a great way to tie into the spiderverse
this game is a blessing. SPOILERS: the moment when you get to play as venom and destroy everyone in oscorp was my absolute highlight. i am a massive venom fan, so this was just a spectacular event do have. also seeing SCREAM in this was another moment that gave me chills and i had to pause the game for a second to realize what amazing stuff is happening in this very moment
yeah man seeing Scream, I was shouting "wait I definitely know that colouring and that design". I was hoping to see maybe Riot phase and other buddies but it might be asking for a bit too much.

Well Peter definitely can, especially this late in his career yet the writers don’t respect Peter, so they made him fail. Again. I think he failed just about everything in this game, he needed help from MJ and miles to even function.
I love how when Cletus held the symbiote, it turned red. As if it was drawn in by his malice and his insanity. As if that symbiote loved Cletus for his evil mind.
Well both Li and Beck had already made steps to redeem themselves. I personally didn't understand that point of the game. Peter would have done the same. He would maybe be a bit biased at first, having fought them before but he would help eventually.
I'm guessing Silk is gonna be a bit older than Miles's gang and work more as a personal challenge for Peter and MJ's relationship in the 3rd game, given their *"connection"* in the comics.

Cletus kept telling us Crimison hour and this version of him seems to be a cult leader, perfect equation to be the type to worship a cosmic entity who seeks to destroy Celestials and bring darkness to the cosmos. For the next game GG is definitely the better option for last boss as a story material but there was just too much tease for the symbiote saga and hope it is not wasted.

That wasn’t a year ago. It was almost 3. And it wasn’t all of a sudden. The whole dlc story of the 1st game was the origin story of her vigilante persona from the comics. Spider man ps4 is canonically 3 years prior to the second game. Miles was 15 in that game. He is now 17 and a senior in high school.

The only reason I'm not fully convinced of that is that the Superior Spider-Man suit is already in this game. They held off on having you wear any Symbiote suits in the first game until they adapted Venom themselves, so I would imagine they'd do the same thing there.
NO ONE liked that run in the comics. If they're smart, they will stay far, FAR away from it apart from a brief mention of it as a "failed experiment" or an "aborted plan."

I think they’ll either do carnage as a dlc, or, more likely in my opinion, will fill in a similar role as Rhino did in Spider-Man: Miles Morales if they do a Spider-Man: Silk. Tbf, they did work on the Miles Morales game in-between 1 and 2 AND made the remaster. As well as a new Rachet and Clank game and some other smaller projects.
Granted, we know there's going to be a wolverine game, so there's likely going to be other games they release in between. But base on their release schedule they likely have multiple dedicated teams, so I could see it taking 3-4 years instead, if they pushed for it. But it's possible they focus on doing DLC or a side game, or just straight up work on other titles first. It could be 5-6.

the moment when you get to play as venom and destroy everyone in oscorp was my absolute highlight. i am a massive venom fan, so this was just a spectacular event do have.
also seeing SCREAM in this was another moment that gave me chills and i had to pause the game for a second to realize what amazing stuff is happening in this very moment
yeah man seeing Scream, I was shouting "wait I definitely know that colouring and that design". I was hoping to see maybe Riot phase and other buddies but it might be asking for a bit too much.
You can also see rest Life Foundation Symbiotes colors as reguler enemy Symbiotes Agony Riot Lasher also i hope Scream return and become anti hero playable as DLC

Cletus kept telling us Crimison hour and this version of him seems to be a cult leader, perfect equation to be the type to worship a cosmic entity who seeks to destroy Celestials and bring darkness to the cosmos.
For the next game GG is definitely the better option for last boss as a story material but there was just too much tease for the symbiote saga and hope it is not wasted.
