Very busy level crossing in Waltham Forest, North London, during the morning rush-hour and school-run hours of 8am-8:30am. There was traffic everywhere and schoolkids heading to the local school, making it a very busy environment.
Thanks For Watching!
I live here. It’s amazing.
Me to
Great video and crossing!
*There's a subway RIGHT THERE! USE IT!!!*
Awesome LC action too! I've been here a few times myself but only the once for my channel - it's a very busy level crossing with some very hyper alarms! Kinda reminds me of West Barnes Level Crossing across the city being so busy and having 6 wigwags as well! 😁👍
Thanks 😎 Was surprised how busy this gets during rush-hour. People everywhere
It gets very busy at rush hour and actually gets busy around almost if the day
I just saw your list of subscriptions. I had already subscribed to every one 😂
Nice one - they're all good channels 😁
Great video
Thanks 😎
317 710 and 891 for Chingford
A long wait for the train once the gates went down, but they shot up really quickly once it was clear.
Is it wrong that whenever I see someone running across with an "I'm too important to wait" look on their face, I wish that the barrier would clang them on the head?
No lol - some drivers I've seen jumping the lights deserve a bit of karma eventually
My happy place is highams Park
Took a while for the train to come, eh?
Yeah, it usually takes that long at most full barrier crossings in the UK
@@UKLevelCrossingsChannel mhm! Indeed
This thing is such a pain in the arse. I've always hated it and it causes SO much traffic! Would be better if they just closed it permanently and had more trains.
I'd imagine they'd need to make an alternative route nearby to close the crossing. It did seem really busy when I was here in the morning rush-hour.
@@UKLevelCrossingsChannel They already exist. I used to get driven to school on the other side of the crossing, and we'd always go around it because it was easier and quicker than waiting for the traffic. I live here now and I hate this fucking level crossing, I wish they'd just close it!
So THIS is where all that globular warming is coming from! All these vehicles just idling at the gates!
It certainly doesn't help, especially during busy peak periods. Many drivers simply don't bother turning their engines off while they wait.
i found misuse in the video
Yeah, there was a lot of misuse when I was here
It happens so much I live here
@@mrsquidnugget0 Maybe people need to pay attention to the warning lights, they could get killed by a train one day.
Hate those stupid people who did this.
I wish there were some police officers who were watching.
Yeah, people might not run across on the red lights then
I hate this thing so much. I wish they'd just close it and make a one way system
It would be difficult to close this crossing as there isn't any easy diversion route and there's very limited space to construct any sort of underpass or overpass across the railway to deal with the traffic.
@@UKLevelCrossingsChannel Wrong. I live here. You can go down Winchester Road or The Avenue... the roads around get blocked up EVERY time the barriers are down and you can't go anywhere. There's already an underpass for pedestrians. As a local I already avoid crossing over at the level crossing. They should close it;.
@@salazar2287: 'You can go down Winchester Road or The Avenue...' Yet drivers choose too wait at the crossing.
Lots of teens misusing.
Yeah, this was the busy morning rush-hour with loads of students heading to nearby schools.
So misused 🙄. But good filmmaking 😁
Yeah it was, and thanks 😁
