Thanks, and guess what? I cut some trees for a nice lady with my 372 XP and I had no intention of charging her anything. While I was cleaning up a few limbs she disappeared down to the basement. When I finished up and was loading to leave, I saw she had placed a little chainsaw in the back of my pickup. She said it had been in her basement for about 25 years and had been given to her by a logger friend. When her dad saw the thing he took it away and told her if she needed any cutting done to call him and he would send her brother over to do the work. He said she was to little and weak to run a big bad saw. I think he cut a few trees for her and then she just retired the saw. I was a little shocked to see that it was 3 cc bigger than my big bad 372XP. It only has an 18 to 20 inch bar, so I guess it was the one filmed in Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Thanks for showing me how to get started. I want to transform it so Buckin' Billy himself would be proud to use it.
I have a 306A and it needs some stuff....piston/cylinder look good, but broke a ring putting cylinder back on, the lower end bearing is badly worn, cannot find one, and dont have the $$$ or time right now to do it up, but it will be done....in '21 I hope.
Finding saws is just one of them things i have been doing and ppl call me to see if i want them my compressor is a old craftsman i keep piecing it togther to keep it going

What chainsaw did Farmer Vincent use in Motel Hell? 🤔

Back in the day the 245 306 and the d 250 were very popular. Here in Wisconsin . I still have the d250 .
