My songque currently has 1200 atk and the other characters are more or less on the same level. I’m already rerolling affixes but I don’t see how those alone could cover this much of difference. I also don’t quite understand if crit stats are worth something on elemental dmg characters since I read that they can’t crit, but my thelema actually deals less dmg without crit stats so I’m quite confused

not necessarily. yes, if you want their "100%" power, most p2 characters support each other. But, they still can use P1 support characters (albeit much more weaker in most scenarios). If you miss 1 or 2 S ranks, but have 1 other, you can use them paired with coralie since coralie is a universal p2 support. ie: if you dont have lantern n thel but have sena, u can do a sena -cora team for SQ. But its reccomended to AT LEAST have sena or lantern in the team, since either one can buff crit rate, so you dont have to cringe farm for crits. for lantern and thelema, Sena is a MUST since she gives breach.
@@jayiko even old gameplay take time to get use to most captain. People just need time to get use to new gameplay. Well, its a different story if you just don't like some new character so you don't feel motivate to pull for them.

S2 allows faster rotation, but f2p and not t100 players dont need to chase ranks. This isnt genshin.

Yes it'll do perfectly fine for her as Thelema and Lantern are higher priority really than Serapeum, it's just Serapeum gives better crit consistency
