I often see people saying that CLC should stick to more girl crush concepts...but I think it was a smart idea to do a cute concept for this song in particular, it's cute and catchy..something that would very much appeal to a younger audience and the message of the song is great and something that all people, especially young children need to hear.
Exactly what I think about it! I feel so happy that they put their mind to make it cute and catchy for the younger ones so that they know how to say no and that it's okay and good to say no if you're not ready

When you look at the lyrics, it's not only about HAVING THE RIGHT to say NO to a consent if not ready - which everyone has a right to do (even though some STILL don't get that nor respect it) but also saying STOP to sexualizing underage girls and also girls in general (especially in "With long straight hair in skinny jeans do I look mature for my age? No no no What's in your mind now - STOP) . It's really deep, CLC are honestly the WOKE people.

i like the fact they are talk about harassment, and i think the concept suit with the group (i love the badass concept too), but the melody of music in my opnion can be just a little more fast, just a little...like 0,7s or something like that.
I REALLY want to talk about how what CLC does and the way they switch back and forth from GIRL CRUSH and I want to call it "SWEET" concept is really IMPORTANT AND POWERFUL, and why I wish people will pay attention to the importance.
IN SUMMARY: It is because both concepts address all kinds of girls with positive or empowering message. But a little explanation:
It is common that many people are like "blah blah group should only do girl crush"
FIRST I want to just talk about SWEET concept. The fact that they chose to portray songs like oh no oh like this is empowering to someone like me, I personally relate to things that are more traditionally feminine and cutesy, but when it comes to the way "female empowerment" is idealized it is always like "YEAH this badass girl crush concept is empowering, step on me with your HEELS".................
But...I don't relate to that even in the slightest. I have the same feelings as those who want to feel empowered and what not, but over the top girl crush has made it impossible for me to relate, as I and I'm sure others don't resonate with that spirit. BUT MANY DO. Which is why their girl crush concept is great! With great messages, me, no, black dress, all of them. I LOVE CLC's girl crush because it is very genuine. Some put on a big fuzzy jacket and thigh high boots and braids and sing something lame and it is very "shallow" wannabe CL badass, it gets popular anyways.
When CLC presents an important message in a voice that is sweet concept, it feels like my voice however. Around the same time, as oh no oh, HIGH HEEL is released, This is important because it's about wearing and enjoying the clothes that many girls get sexually harassed over, AND I still want to point out how they are not saying "you have to wear high heels to be beautiful or whatever" but they are also honest that they use an article of clothing that enhances their personal definition beauty, that they don't look the same without it. AND that it is okay to want to wear girly stuff and enjoy it because IF THAT is what makes you feel confident and and good then you better do it.
I think high heels and black dress are equals for the concepts in a way. Black dress is her saying "I put on this black dress for you" She may have gotten dressed up for someone, but she put on the more badass black dress that made her feel confident. High heels is the other kind of girl putting on her cute heels because that makes her feel confident. So yeah, that's really all. Also I love that someone said sweet can appeal to young kids. Kids are very important to me , I agree.

@@waqas371 yeah, good point. Our main problem was Cube strategy. Their debut was fantastic and it got a lot of hype and expectation because of Rain, then the song was a bop so everything was super exciting and good, but then the next 2 comebacks (wich i loved but still it didn't make justice to their talents) were really weak (plus the other dumb things we already know) and that's it.
People forgot about CLC and we can see the consequences even till now. They've been droping bop after bop and they're still being kinda ignored. But i believe in my girls, CLC is freaking talented, their stage presence is no joke, they're beautiful so is their personalities! We have nothing to ask in therms of rap, dance, visual and vocals. They can compose their own music, write their own lyrics and make their own choreographies but they're too afraid ):
They're hiden gems with tons of talent and they need to trust in themselves. I know right now they're nervous and feels lots of pressure but i still believe in them (i'll always do)! We need to buy their music (i have all their albums in physical and digital vers.) and support them way harder!
