i am 65 and remember writing a few programs back in the early 80`s using BASIC all this stuff now makes my head spin.....but i am glad there are young kids around like you that understand all this stuff
same here.i m 49 doing basic in 1980s but all these languages are tough.
@@cyrusirani5080 I have also done BASIC ..that was my first experience.. all these languages now, i eat them as cookies.
It seems daunting at first, I also did BASIC programming in the early 80's and am now learning to code with JavaScript, especially if you follow Simon, he takes the time to explain the syntax. I have developed a Sales and Inventory system within google sheets using their built in appscript which is similar/based off JavaScript
Loved the charts and the way you explained the information in them. Thank you so much for what you do!
Hats off to you man
You're very straightforward, accurate and a really good teacher:D
Nice video. Clear, concise, backed by data, exactly what I was looking for.
Thanks. A good video. Presently I am going through your HTML and CSS course video. After completion, I would move on the JavaScript and next to Python.
I'm a new subscriber to your channel and I'm also a college student checking out your html and css course. I still gotta check out your JavaScript course. Great great stuff man. I know python, Java, and C# but this video was really helpful to let me know how I'm gonna use them in the real world. Thanks alot. Alot of helpful details on your videos!!!
Subscribed! This is the channel for you. Thank you, Simon.
clear+efficient = new subscriber 👌
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for making this simple to understand Simon
Hello Simon,
I have gone through and completed your HTML/CSS course. It was really very simple to understand, practice and grasp the concepts. Thank you very much for the effort and love you put into making such excellent learning material.
Is there any course on Python that you can recommend that is as explanatory as your videos? I see you don't have any tutorial on Python on your site.
On Udemy the python course by Fred Baptiste is the best and most comprehensive course out there. I wish every programming language was taught by him!
Simon, you are the man! Thx!
One of the best channels on RUclips.
Thank you, I appreciate this video. You explain it great that it is easy to understand.
I love your content! Keep it up :)
Thanks, I am a huge fan and your student, Keep up the good work
I have reviewed hundreds of channels on coding. Yours is the best hands down
Thanks for watching my videos 😄 I really appreciate your support!
Talk abt sticking to the channel title, this content is so invaluable 👌
Thanks for watching! I’m happy to hear the information is easy to understand 😀
A lot of videos mention Machine Learning and Data Science as being the things Python is good for, but even if you aren't into those Python has other use cases and benefits (and also cons like a slow execution speed and that it's not too easy to distribute).
I think some of the biggest things are automation, scripting/scripts and webscraping, all of which I'm interested in.
And whilst it's not great at it, there's plenty of GUI toolkits for it as well if you're into that.
Bro likes this analysis !!
Most informative video I have seen regarding, "Which language to choose" question. Thank you very much for the simple explanation :)
Thank you! I've become a subscriber today
Thank you Simon. You are a gem❤️
Thanks Simon your vids has been a very good guide and learning paths for me❤…

Thank you for information !!!
you are amazing, Simon!
I was surprised about how much I liked coding Kotlin in Android Studio - it worked really well. Sadly I also agree that mobile apps are a niche - people will use the few really popular apps and aside from that only a few very specific ones. Meanwhile it's not surprising that the scripting language for the web is the most widespread.
Hi Simon, my name is blessing, am pretty excted with rhe type of.teacher you are . I ve listen to your courses like java script, html and css , i want to say thank you. I have exam this january, 2023. I failed the exam on the last turn, android but you dont have one. I love the project yiu did with css and html. Thank you, am based in lagos, Nigeria
Thanks for this video. I'm on the right path to study, JS :)
You are the greatest Computer Tech Teacher in the history of mankind. I am forever stuck to your channel for Computer Tech learning.
Thanks very much. You are much appreciated
been watching this guy's videos lately. they are way better than those lame-ass online courses!
Thank you, Simon, You are one of the best teachers online and I like the ways you teach God bless you. I love you.❤
Can you recommend a book on HTML and CSS for me? For beginners to professionals, please.
I like the way you break down things
thanks for these informations, keep up.
Very underrated, keep up the great video! I remember learning Pythons couple months back and loved it but don’t remember it as much. For job wise, is it smart to learn both JS and Pythons or is that too board?
Thank you! I recommend picking one and mastering it first. Every dev I know is a master of one of JS or Python and very bad at the other lol, you can get by just fine with one. I recommend JS just based on the numbers. But pick Python if you specifically like it or you don’t like making web pages.
I'm a new subscriber to your channel. Love your teaching skills. Please teach system programming using any language you want.
Thank you for your vids. Changing jobs can be so intimidating but you explain it in a very clear way
Thanks for watching! I agree, it’s always difficult to switch to something new from what you’re used to. Good luck, you got this! 😄
You are *Simply(e) Outstanding* dear *Simon*

Excellent. Thanks a lot
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for this video! I am about to enroll into coding bootcamp for Software Engineering course which mainly focuses on Java. I think OOP languages like Java are powerful to handle backend for Web App. Here is my question, can JavaScript handle backend used like as Java? Can JavaScript work like as Java for backend for Web Apps? Thanks
i like your video a lot. so straight forward and useful. can providing pictures for us to understand take notes much easier. i would like you can hold a bootcamp, i definitly happy to pay for it, i know it would worth it.
this is great i appreciate you so how about php and is important in any web develop?
I agree with you I also loved the way you teach JavaScript you are a very Good teacher.... Just don't stop. and I would love it if you could also teach React.js. Thanks
Hi Simon thank you for the explanation , could I use java script for IOT
You are the best bro
I find it surprising that a survey asking 41k developers "what they code in" doesn't have PHP show up in top 10. The question wasn't what do they enjoy/ prefer to code in. Did I miss something?
That sounds correct.
Nice content
Ok. first, how can ur voice so soft.
Second ,thanx u r an awesome sensei. I m undergoing ur html css course lately.
Third, my dream is to meet u face to face.
Saranghe...
Thanks bro. I am gonna pick JS first.
This Young man deserves to be more popular
I also began with Java...
Man, it was really demanding... didn't take long and i gave up on it, switching to python in the process
In 2007, Jeff Atwood made the quote that was popularly referred to as Atwood's Law: “Any application that can be written in JavaScript, will eventually be written in JavaScript.”
Hi Simon, thank you this video, can you make video about become game developer ? thank you
I love blender, and I love image editing with photoshop. It would be cool to do something with blender and python and Java
Should we learn reactjs or flutter for mobile dev
Man seriously like your content but can you please make a tutorial about puthfor beginners
I hear a lot about Typescript and some people tell me to learn typescript instead of JavaScript, is that good advice? I’m a data engineer and I mostly use python and sql.
i am a new subscriber simon do you have the data science related video-teaching
knime
Thanks
Welcome!

Simón, we use a low code platform called Mendix. Can I be called programmer or developer or even software engineer? And most important, could I make a whole career only using this platform (programming tool)?? Because it allows to create complete web apps and even native mobile apps for tablets and phones. They claim it to be a completely integrated ecosystem which integrates all phases of software development life cycle
Hey, I'd like to know which is better for Backend-dev: Golang or Django(Python)?
Hello my bro could you be so kind as to tell me if can i be javascript without Html n css skills or in short to be a developer without Html and css skills does it going to help you on web development platforms?
no php in the chart :(
Why does my school make us take Java before any other class ? Not even allowed to take JavaScript or Python or C++.
Hello bro do u have online courses for beginners???😊
Man i love u
is the odin project worth it
i'm using an imac os big sur and python doesn't work on it.
05:20 but why is JS the only supported language for the browser tho
Some say JavaScript is easier and best to start with. Some say Python is easier and best to start with.
Uh? Can’t you just do react.js and work on both android and iPhone same time?
Why do we have many programming language? What is the purpose of it?
Why java over html and css for web apps?
what about golang?
Ok.js and .py are most popular, but No one’s talking about execution speed of Javascript or python.
🙏
Python for beginners tutorial
Wow, the answer came fast xD
Please tech us Python, My lord ❤️❤️
Every company needs a website
bro if i may ask you do you have a website where you teach coding with different languages??
Thanks for watching! I currently only teach JavaScript since in my opinion it’s easiest language to get a first job with. I do have a website at supersimple.dev but it’s mainly for extra materials and exercises. I post the actual lessons on RUclips.
@@SuperSimpleDev Thank you bro i am a student in college doing information technology .i want to be a software engineer will you please guide me?!.Since you have experience in this field bro,
@@khaledkenan9592 sure, I mean I don’t really have time to do 1-1 guidance but I will try to make more videos sharing what I know
@@SuperSimpleDev okay bro GOD BLESS
Man, u founded mind dev for yourself. I mean if I can't understand any chart - it's oke. Practice help me learn this after, with experience. Before I was thinking another - if I can't understand that means I stupid))) I have two conditions. First - why I can't understand, I so stupid. Second - wow, I can do it, I have success
