  • I get a lot of calls during the summer from concerned homeowners who say their AC unit is running, but it's just not getting cool inside their home.
Before you assume that your unit is not working correctly, this video four things you should know about HVAC systems. Knowing these first can help you determine if there really might be a problem and if you need to call a technician. Just making a few adjustments during those summer heatwaves can save you hundreds of dollars on an unnecessary service call.

This video came in a timely manner. My unit ran all day today just trying to keep it at 78. No problems cooling at night.

Old Timer Same here near the Space Coast. Thermostat at 78 and ac is not even trying to shut off because of the upper 90 temps outside.

Sprinkler or a hose made for a garden mist the condenser that will do the job on very hot days. You don't have to blast the water just a slight mist any home owner can do it and it will work and cool off the house and pull the humidity from the house. The money spent on water will be penny's compared to being uncomfortably hot.

Geothermal AC will drop indoor temp way more than 20 degrees !!!! But they are expensive.
