really??? !! I think its from having a different brand that lost its pilot sensing switch, and me trying to find one for a Moncrief that led me to keep hearing from suppliers “they dont make those anymore “ --ill try carrier!! thanks!
My grandpa’s house has one of these furnaces, it was installed back in the day along with a matching blower like that, but in the same blue-gray as the actual furnace. I think they are different brands though
Young man, you are quite knowledgeable but you are misleading the public about the squirrel cage motor. A "done" motor will have melted the epoxy within the windings of the stator. The armature still turns & the smoke has not gotten out of the stator windings, yet. A proper cleaning to facilitate air circulation through them & a dose of 3-in-one oil in each of those oil ports and she would be good to go. I have a 1957 Moncrief, same soup, different bowl; STILL running today. Yes time is money, but when you do a customer right you earn their loyalty; & a word-of-mouth reference is always the best reference
Appreciate you putting this video online. This is one of the most interesting things I have seen on RUclips all year.
That's amazing ❤😅❤
You can still buy those warp switch's. Check with Carrier.
You'll need to slightly modify the "newer version" but it will work.
