Hah! Is it a good thing to help pass time or does this mean you can't watch it yet and have to wait to get home? Thanks for watching and commenting Chris!
Was such a great time out there. I have yet to have had a bad day there, though I did a night fishing trip with Mark and it was muuuuuch slower than we anticipated. Granted he slept for 4 hours in his Jeep...lol!
Yeah well going to sleep for multiple hours during the night of a NIGHT tourney would probably put you off them indeed! But, the funny thing is.... you didn't miss the bite! LOL, the whole time you slept, shoot, I don't even know if I got a SINGLE bite!! Freaking wild. Great hearing from you bud, can't wait to see you this season. Thanks for watching and commenting on my video!
Hah, I didn't say the place! I sure in heck thought about it, with the massive amount of traffic it gets, but in reality that's rec yakers and not fishermen. So I decided not to name it This place is absolutely magic!
O you are right ,thanks ,your right I have had people tell me they never catch much there lol ,I think a lot of people go off to the right from the landing an as you know it's the wrong way ,I have caught 30 inch pickerel as well ,there is some back water on the left that is full of perch ,let me know the next time your over there ,I'm close an I will fire up the smoker
@@shanecrate3352 there is a LOT of good stuff off to the right actually! 😁 I will have to find the other videos I have of there. There’s not too much dead water there but there is indeed some.
I used to call this one of my local ponds since I can leave the house and be on the water in about 20 minutes. It kinda got ruined when Canoe & Kayak Magazine listed it as one of the prettiest bodies of water in NH. Now if you’re not on the water before sunrise you won’t find a place to park due to all the old lady pleasure kayakers that come to see the loons . For years my son and I would come here with the canoe when he was still a kid and we only caught Smallmouth, now the Largemouth are more plentiful than the Smallies but there are still some beautiful Smallies in there. Had a great encounter with a big bull moose there about 20+ years ago when my son was about 10, we rarely saw any other people. Don’t fish it much anymore but still come a couple times a year. Good stuff Kris !
Yeah I absolutely love that place. And places like that I won't blatantly put the names in the title or description or let them in the comments as it's just unneeded extra pressure for those types of spots. Even though I'm sure it would generate wayyyyy more views, that'll never be my point or purpose! It's a bummer all these spots get blown out with people. And yeah, I've only ever known that spot as "the recreational kayaker destination of NH" as there's LINES of cars every weekend. It's still pretty quiet during weekdays though! So that's nice.
I do not currently own a boat, but it is an "end goal" to have one for taking my family out on the lake for the day Thanks for watching and commenting!
I went here for the first time last June and it is indeed a great spot! From what I've heard, largemouth are a relatively recent occurrence? I did catch all smallmouth except for one 2+ lb largie. Too bad it's over 1.5hrs away from where I live 🙁 I'll probably still be back though
Thanks bud! When you've made literally multiple million casts, I suppose you tend to get pretty decent at it hah! Appreciate you watching and commenting!
Been fishing this pond for 20 years. Really sucks that so many people found this gem. Place is packed on weekends from out of staters who leave trash on the shore lines. Use to see almost nobody out there and you wouldn't believe the fishing even 10 years ago. Although I hate that people find and destroy everything atleast you don't mention the name of the pond.
Great video! Helping with the fishing itch! You had a heck of a day out there. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks so much for watching and commenting! Appreciate that.
Love that place, it wasn’t very nice to me this year but I still love it!
How many times you go this year? Similar to me?
It's such a great place though. Very natural and "comfy"
Sweet!
Thanks! 😀
love it when a video drops while I'm at work!!

That was a fun day. Glad that place produced for ya, I think it put me off night tournaments for a while lol

First time there this year fishing, it was rough but has every opportunity
Place can be pure magic! I love going there.
Thanks for watching and commenting!

Keep at it, you'll get em!
Thanks for watching and commenting.
Shh, that's my hot spot I fish there 2 to 3 times a week, I think that is they same 5 lb I caught in the same place

Yeah it’s the same distance for me but a wicked fun spot!
I have luck with tons of Largies there indeed. Not sure if it being new or not.
Crazy how accurate your casts are!

What is the name of this lake?
I’m sorry, I generally do not disclose the name of water sources I fish unless they are very public and generally bigger.
Appreciate you watching!

There’s some places that, no matter how well it would do if I named it, I refuse to name them!
Respect!
