The new EP is excellent, love this song especially. GOON is one of my favorite bands in recent memory, been addicted to Heaven is Humming for a few weeks now. can't wait to hear what else is in store, volume 2 when???

omg. thank you for this great piece. i love how soothing but unexplainably eerie this song is for me. "say something untrue and kind, tuck me in and switch the light". these words are just... wow. the wish of being brainwashed but comforted by something completely dishonest. just like a green fruit that've been already picked from a tree. it'll never be able to grow "naturally", it's just laying alone in a dark room, decaying but not ripening. waiting to be eaten by someone eventually, when it's ready, "fully under a deadline". but the natural life cycle of a fruit is gory too, it is born to become meat for mentioned fruit bats and other creatures. or, if it's never eaten, it's destined to "find rest", to produce something new from its remains. it's just a "body", after all
I just love the creativity and passion that exudes from this layered symphony of expression, as it truly soothes the soul ~ Well done!
I heard this on kcrw today and had to find out what it is. I've been in a huge music rut and I really your music. Not to mention I've been feeling dead inside for months on end, so the fact that I can feel emotions for your music is a nice change.
