You'd think DK Rexxar would be worse in Wild due to higher variance in the beasts you're offered. Are you finding it's better? Not trolling, just curious since I play mostly Standard.
Well, I play mostly Wild, and my feeling is that Rexxar is as good in Wild as he is in Standard. Power creep aside, there is plenty of good options to discover with him, especially Dreadscale + a Poisonous beast against big minions decks. And his Battlecry is specially relevant against Odd Paladin.
I really dislike the leaving of his opponent. Ok, you get outplayed, you know who Kibler is - give him a "Well played" and keep your pride a little .. Otherwise, as always, a Kibler classic - nice and entertaining!
Rexxar is only good now because of lifesteal being available. He was mediocre before since you still just died in grind games due to lack of healing and spending two mana to "do nothing" for tempo. That being said once more beasts get added then it becomes a possibility you get more "whiffs" on your hero power since you can usually get lifesteal or poisonous or stealth every single time and have a "playable" beast.
While we know Swamp Leech isn't close to competitive, it still makes Rexxar SO much better. Beforehand if you wanted to add Lifesteal you had to pray for a 5 Mana Bloodworm.
Well... Not quite true. If they release worse beasts his Hero Ability has a higher chance of being less impactful. His Hero Ability will have more variance and is constantly changing each expansion though (especially in wild), so that makes him a hero that it is a little harder to get bored of playing than the others!
p4 Games Agreed. Currently in standard the beast pool is small enough you can usually get lifesteal every other turn. Now that might mean bloodworm or whatever the 4/4 is, but it is more or less guaranteed. Same can be said for bloatbat or hydra shenanigans. Based on how few "keyword/vanilla" beasts there are in standard you have a DECENT chance of getting exactly what you want when you pick the first one. Rexxar is going to worse over time in wild since for every good beast option there's going to be a bad one and the pool is much more expansive.
i exploded this netdecked druid type in wild with auction paladin, when he had the twig on 1 charge remaining first time in a while that i had fun playing hs (because of the auction paladin), and that was such a cherry on top
If he was running twig in wild, it's not a net deck lmao. Twig is pretty bad in wild considering the far more reliable and easier to setup Aviana + Kun.
Not to mention that since you're not even technically popping the eggs with those cards, in hunter the deck can spawn many more devilsaurs from them than any other egg deck ever conceived.

It really isn't... the lategame power of this deck from Kathrena and Rexxar, along with the potential for Shaw combos, makes it play quite differently from a more face-oriented odd hunter deck.

My opponents always get their win conditions on curve and/or Keleseth on turn 1 or 2
How do druids players even get salty for losing games...?
Paul Sim Malygos Druid is currently the top deck, so the majority of people playing it are gonna be salty tryhard babies who can’t stand losing
Most people get salty when playing against hunter death knight
Hunter DK does that to some people. I don’t think it has anything to do with opponent being Druid.
