The 2019 season will always hold a special place in my heart for many reasons: I witnessed the Quaker State 400 at Kentucky in person when Kurt beat Kyle in that now historic finish and my favorite driver (Truex Jr.) winning 7 times and getting to see him win his first short track race which put me into tears, as well as sweeping Richmond and leading those 464 laps at Martinsville. And it'll also be a year that ended in heartbreak for me as Truex who should have won that year's title just like 2018, lost Homestead over that absolutely unacceptable tire mix up his team SOMEHOW had happen in the most important race of the year. That made me cry too as it hurt to see him finish 2nd in points two years in a row.
2019 was a fantastic season for my favorite Nascar drivers. 12 wins for my favorite Cup Series drivers(Kyle Busch: 5, Denny Hamlin:6 Alex Bowman: 1). 11 wins in the Xfinity Series(Kyle Busch: 4, Tyler Reddick: 6, Justin Allgaier: 1). 6 Gander Outdoors Truck Series wins( Kyle Busch: 5, Johnny Sauter, 1).
fun fact my grandma told me who was going to win the race i chose jimmie johnson just making a guess because my favorite number is 48 and i fell asleep and all of of a sudden what woke me up in my sleep was and quote "Jimmie Johnson has won the 2019 Busch Clash"
