We in Missouri deal with Tornados... Lots! Tree's are the least of our problems.. other then Tree's getting thrown into Houses, Businesses and Hospitals.. up rooted houses, garages and anything in it's way...

My friend works for asplundh tree service. They are contracted by the power company they have been down there for a few days now cutting trees off the lines and are getting some places services restored

What's the longest you've been without power? I think after Katrina or maybe Gustav, it was almost a month. It's usually a few weeks or days. Its hell because of the humidity here. We didn't lose power for the last few tropical storms. They've been week. Plus, last year we didn't get a direct impact from a Cat 1. We experienced worse from tropical storms and hell, just severe weather. This year was bad during the spring. I'm surprised y'all had so much of the power go out. I know other people in the path who went out. I wonder how long it'll take next time we have a bigger storm hit here. Last impactful hurricane we had was in 2012 and we were out almost a whole week, but we also lived more in the outskirts of town. We live in a Civil War era subdivision right off of the main street in downtown now and live closer to the hospital, which always gets turned on first. Not sure if that will have any impact. Plus, less woods lessen the chance for trees to fall. I'm fine not knowing for a while lol.

in arizona had flooding from a harrcane it was nuts all the streets where flooded people where kiakyin in the strees this happen a while back

my power went out at six o’clock and turned back on at eleven also if you have not already call the electric company and report the power outage
We lost our power on Tuesday, and we did call PSE&G, but they didn't come until Thursday, and that's when we got our power back.
