This looks like an incredible event. I love watching your adventures. Your bus holds up against every bus you toured. You really did an awesome job on your conversion.
Well that was fun! 😄 I myself don't live in an RV or shuttle bus, or have plans for nomad life, but boy do I enjoy watching your adventures and seeing how so many others are leading a beautiful life on the road! What a lovely community of people. And apparently many talented artists and crafters as well. No wonder you had such a great time. Stay cool Zia and take care. ❤
So many great ideas. I suffer from heat exhaustion too. Some things that help are a usb neck fan, I find I can work in my garden or walk around so much better with the fan on. I even use it on the plane and it has saved me. Lasting many hours on one charge. I also use a small fan that you add water to. Mine is a table top model and I fill it with ice and cold water and my room where I sit cools down so fast and it is a game changer. And I use cooling powder for the areas that sweat. It absorbs and keeps me from feeling gross. I like the brand Carpe but there are others that I think work just as good. TY for sharing! Looks like the weather was awesome but warm. Happy Trails!
@@chasingthemoonrv Evaporative Air Cooler, 4-IN-1 Portable Air Conditioner with 4 Modes 3 Speeds, I have bought two different ones. This is by far the best. The Brand is YIJU. Price has gone up a bit but its a workhorse for me. The other one I dont like at all. This is the neck fan I use - JISULIFE Portable Neck Fan, Hands Free Bladeless Fan, 4000 mAh Battery Operated Wearable Personal Fan, Leafless, Rechargeable, Headphone Design,3 Speeds. Hi Zia, thanks for taking us along. So enjoyable looking at the buses. We have a little fold up trolley with a bungee cord we purchased off Ebay incase we need to move our power station for whatever reason so might help to have one on board. Early days for you hon so am sure you'll soon have your power and fridge needs sorted. With Jan having MS, she needs to stay cool so has a cooling vest for warmish days. You put it in a fridge for a while and it has a certain gel that keeps her cool so might be an idea. You can also get neck ties you soak in water that holds a similar "magic" cooling gel. We bought the items mentioned above in Australia so hopefully you folks have similar in Canada or the USA. Hoping you're feeling better now and things have cooled down for you. Thanks again for sharing hon, take care Mer, Jan and Arki ❤🐕
Hi Mer, Jen & Arki! I’m sorry to hear about the MS diagnosis, having experience with that in my own family. Hope you’re doing well Jen. I used to carry those cooling neck ties in a boutique store I had many years ago and they really do help. The trolley is a great idea and I thought I might look for a luggage cart at a thrift store. 🚐❤️🇨🇦
@@chasingthemoonrv thanks hon. Whenever MS is mentioned, usually there's a similar reply to yours. Jan has had it for the 30 years we've been together and has learnt to listen to her body so doing pretty well. So grateful we can still travel in our caravan in Oz, it keeps us "alive". Hoping to go to Western Australia in September 🤞. All the best with finding your bits and pieces Zia, looking forward to seeing your next video when you're able. Love Mer, Jan and Arki xxx
Thanks for another fantastic video. It was great to see all different busses. It looks amazing at the bus fair. Except for your heat and fridge issues and it looks like you had a wonderful time
That was such fun. Hope you get everything figured. Just watched ‘bus off with Josie’. Lol a young woman but her bus was amazing. A separate bedroom even was cute, too much climbing for me but fun to watch. Her cottage core tour.
Wow!! That one one heck of an adventure for you!! I love the bus tours! That looked really fun. We just have a standard travel trailer and they are SO boring compared to those schoolies! I’m grateful to have it though. It’s fun to be on the road. Happy that you are feeling better and crossing fingers that you and your buddy can get to your campground safely
Thanks Lori it really was a lot of fun! I’d bet you have put your own personality stamp on your travel trailer…it’s something we women, in particular, love to do. 🚐❤️🇨🇦
Great intro into the fair experience, thanks for sharing! Once you experience heat stoke its easier to repeat it, try starting your day with electrolytes, very easy fix to a huge issue. When I moved to the interior from the Island it was night and day difference into the heat. The electrolytes makes a night and day difference, helps me keep up my energy and clears the brain fog, listless feeling. I mix it with my echo hydrogen water., I need all the health hacks I can get : ) Be well and safe and happy travels!!!
This was such a great video, Zia, thank you for all the work you did ! I just missed your LIVE by a whisker, and got there in time to hear you saying goodbye... but I enjoyed watching the whole thing again. What a super time you had and how nice everyone is too ♥🚐🚐🚐
Awww thanks Marion. You didn’t actually miss a live, it was just set as a premiere, which means I can set the date and time it airs. Yes, everyone was so nice! ❤️
There were some lovely busses! I am sure you found lots of inspiration for Emma II when you did your tours. Heat stroke is just awful -- I suffer from it from time to time, so know how you felt. Glad you are better.
Thanks Jane, it’s certainly not fun, especially when there’s so much you want to do!🥵 There were so many buses I didn’t get to look at, including the one that won. Hope to catch it next year.❤️
The other buses look great, but I think yours is much more restful on the eye inside. I like your decor way more! Too much clutter in some of the others. Safe travels!
Oh and one more thing…I must be part Canadian (I am…my Grandpa had dual citizenship b/c his parents are from Toronto)…we seem to tell folks in measurements of time and not miles! Bellingham is about an hour and a half north of Seattle😂😂😂
I enjoyed myself immensely Annette, however, I’m not going to paint an unrealistic picture of life on the road as a 72 year old. I always want to be honest and authentic. 😊
Hi, Zia - What an adventure! Steep learning curves can be stressful. So glad you’re venturing on with a friend for a bit. Take it slowly. Reality has a way of Tempering Dreams. And it brings us face to face with ourselves - the greatest gift in Life! A Cooler Canadian climate might be more hospitable than The States this summer. Wishing you a safe journey onward 🚐 💚+💎, -V
Thanks Virginia! I feel the greatest gift this lifestyle has given me is definitely allowing me to come face to face with myself and understanding what I’m capable of, what I want out of life and knowing my authentic self. ❤️
Thanks for glimpses of the tour. Stay well and stay happy!
Thanks Cynthia! 😊
Thanks for taking us along on your adventure! Loved seeing the different buses!
So glad you enjoyed it Kelly!😊

Thanks Brigitte! 😊

Awww thanks Teresa, I’m so happy you come along for the ride every week! 🚐❤️🇨🇦
Wonderful and fun times …. Some great buses. Heat…ugh it doesn’t do me well either. Just take care and rest/hydrate etc.
your bus is just lovely …
Thank you!😊 ❤️
Nice job Zia! Really enjoyed that.
Thank you Doug!😊

Thank you. I’m so glad to know Jan is managing well. Happy travelling you three!❤️
Hello right back! It was lovely meeting you & fun watching your experience there. You toured a few that I missed in person :)
Hi Rachel! I missed quite a few, including the overall winner! 🫤

Thank you, I made sure not to push myself to hard Jeannie! ❤️
Yeah, it was warm up there this year. Hopefully I'll be a lot closer to being done and they allow me to display again next year.
I’m hoping to take part in the Open House next year too.
🚐😊🇨🇦
Aweee, sorry about your fridge. Too bad you can't plug it into AC power at the same time you recharge your . Love the sound of water in the background
Thank you. ❤️
I will get the fridge power station issue resolved…learning curve!🫤
❤

That’s a definite sign that you are partly Canadian! 😂
sorry I’m new to this. How do we message each other? I’m a fellow Canadian from Ontario looking to start out!
You can always message me here, I’m happy to answer any questions, or do you need privacy?😊
How long does it take to charge the bluetti?
I’m still testing that out and will do an update, when I have tested various charging options. 😊
I would love a shuttle bus but don't want diesel, do you know chuck's channel?
Chuck Cassidy is the name of his YT channel Lori. My bus is gas, not diesel. 😊
@chasingthemoonrv thank you 😊 happy 4th stay well 😘
Thanks Lori!❤️
