I just bought full cover stiletto tips just because I only want to keep my nails on for a week; would putting the polygel on top somehow shrink my nail tips? I think I’ve heard of ppl saying it happens with acrylic. I just want a little more strength.

I haven’t had any problem using Polygel over half-cover or full-cover tips, but in dual forms I notice it’s not strong enough. You can also use more gel polish or a brush-on-builder gel for strength, over full cover tips. I haven’t noticed product shrinking over full cover tips, but I haven’t used acrylics since I became allergic.

I agree, Nyasia, but Polygel or 3D gel which is too hard or too sticky can be adjusted by adding gel polish to thin it, or dip/acrylic powder to stiffen them up. This can give you more colours, too.
Wow, this set is phenomenal!! You did an outstanding job. I would've never guessed how simple the dot design is. How would you do the aura part if you don't have an airbrush machine? 💜
I have 2 vids where I’ve done the aura design without an airbrush machine. It’s the Aquarius video and a tutorial on how to do aura nails without an Airbrush. I’ll make sure to mention it in my next vid🥰
It will last longer than nail glue because I used base gel to glue down my tips and they wouldn’t come off and it had been over a month since I did my nails but you have to prep your nails properly to get them to last that long tho.
I use it thinking it would pop off but I was confused as to why I was ripping layers of my nail off. It really works for some of my nails, bug others are different. My fingers are big, some are square cuticle areas and others are round. Certain fingers stick better/worse too. For me it depends on the nail lamp tho

Maybe try putting the gel in the fridge my hard gel was runny because of the warmth especially if you live in warmer climates 💕💕.

Yes it will, but I’m honestly not sure if it’ll have the same retention as using nail glue!
