    I must have learned this like six times, EMT-B, nursing school, ACLS. Nobody has explained it so simply and in a way that makes so much sense, tanks!

    I have been a paramedic for 20 years and have never heard it explained this way. Excellent job!!! I very well may use this when teaching blocks to my students!!!

    Now, this is the best way I have learnt AV blocks. in less than 3min, I totally got the concept. Am glad I found it. will be using it for my NPTE exam this October.

      Not really- its a method of instruction that's been used a million times in the instructional materials.

    Every year, I review this video. As far as I'm concerned, this is the best heart block video out there! It's short, sweet, and much easier to remember with the husband/wife analogy!!!

    I’m taking ACLS and I could not for the life of me, tell the difference between the Type 2s. Thank you for the video!! Though the couple have a sad ending, the analogy of a wife waiting for her husband to come home helped immensely!!

    Thanks for explanation. I learned it the other way around, where the husband was the p wave, who was getting late more and more, and the wife, qrs, went her own way. Either way, thanks for sharing!

    Easiest way I teach my student is First Degree and Second Degree 2 are consistent PR intervals, Second Degree I and Third are inconsistent PR intervals.
    FIrst degree is long and consistent
    Second Degree II is short and consistent
    Second Degree I is inconsistent with lengthening PR intervals before dropped complex
    Third Degree, complete dissociation, has Ps on T and no 2 PR intervals are the same.
