Lisa, please walk for me. I got in a life changing car accident a few years ago. My favorite activity my entire life is walking. I have good days where I can walk and then not so good days. If I could walk every day I would cherish every moment. You go girl!! get out there and rack up some miles!!

If I didn't have a dog, I probably wouldn't walk every day - but she makes me - sometimes we make each other. I know it is good for me because my first two dogs lived to 16 1/2 which is pretty incredible - so if it is doing them good, it's doing me good. I have walked 23 years now with various dogs - every day that it's not raining or icy. Love that jumpsuit on you!

I walk my big German Shepherd, at least 2 miles every day. Knowing that he likes to get out and about and sniff every blade of grass gets me motivated, but I also have a passion for audiobooks… I love them and I can’t wait to put my headphones on, and listen to the next chapter on my walks.

Lisa - omgosh - I have - my entire life - said how certain things simply make me happy. A special mug, a basket to hold makeup, a cute toe ring - doesn't even matter what it is. If it makes me happy I love it. From a new high end handbag to a PEN! I am a pen nut. All office supplies. I even have a golden stapler I use at our office that makes me happy to use. Why have anything not cute when cute is easy and happy. 💙

Hi Lisa!! I have been a huge Kristen Ess fan for a couple of years now! I have repurchased the BIG shampoo and conditioner bottles a couple of times…and I have never done that before! I was always on to the next thing. I love the moisturizing ones, but also have the purple shampoo and conditioner…and think they are the best I have ever used. I also have the blow dryer, curling iron, flat iron…and all of the hair things I could find as they are so stylish. (Comb, clips, etc.lol) I love them…so glad to hear someone talking about them, could not figure out why they were not!!lol Love ya!!

I love those pens! Also nurses do too. I’m not a nurse but I used to work in an in home health care office and the nurses demanded those exact pens. I ordered other ones once and they were mad at me! Lol!

I loved all the psychology you threw into this video! I am in full agreement with you on beautiful things and dressing true to yourself and it affecting your day. I'm definitely a lifelong sock and tennis shoes hater so I'm going to have to try the On Cloud shoes. I think it keeps me from working out and walking too. I was laughing so hard when you talked about ripping off a sweaty sports bra. I’ve been playing a lot of tennis lately, and I swear ripping off the sweaty sports bra is harder than actually playing tennis - HAHAHA! I always laugh at myself when I am trying to get it off.
Also, I loved seeing pics of your neighborhood. I still can’t believe I ran into you there. It’s so pretty! I walk all the time listening to podcasts - it makes the time go by so fast! You can also speed up the podcasts so they talk faster which is great when someone talks slow.
After being in the hair industry for many years, I also think Kristin Ess is a great drugstore brand. Their volumizing mousse is so good!!!

Hey, Lisa. I've been using Oribe Run Through for years. It gets all the tangles out of my fine long blonde hair, Love it! Before that, I always used Johnson's Baby No More Tangles but this works even better, smells fantastic and leaves my hair glossy and shiny. Like you. I have never been the athletic type, never owned a pair of sneakers, but about two years ago I started fast walking on tread mill, about 35-40 minutes a day, speed of 4 miles an hour, no incline or jogging, about 2.5 miles. I initially started to help combat bone loss and osteoporosis. I always watch my favorite RUclips Channels, including YOU and Andrew Huberman while I'm walking so the time goes by quickly and there's nobody to interrupt me. LOL. Thanks for the sneaker review. I may try the black ones. I've been using a cheap pair I picked up at Target, very soft and comfy and I don't wear them outside, so they work for now. Have a great Memorial Weekend!. Here in Socal we always get "June Gloom" about now so it's very cloudy and overcast, not very nice beach weather. So... I will be thinking of you at the beach. Don't forget your SPF!

@LisaLisaD1 I have the Catalyst Front Zip Sports bra by Knix. Knix is a Canadian Owned company. I wouldn't recommend the regular style bras if you're a "big boob girl" but the sports bras are nice. Their panties are amazing also.

I agree, aesthetics are SO important in making one feel alive and good about oneself. When I look frumpy, I feel frumpy (and grumpy lol). But when I’m well put together and look good, I feel good, and that’s so important. That goes for what’s in my home as well. That eye/brain connection and how visuals affects our overall mood and how we perceive things is very real.
I love the white primers to use under colored mascaras, more color pay off that way

Yep on the Oribe detangler. I use that all the time but my all time shampoo and conditioner is Oribe Gold Rush. Does amazing things to my hair. Expensive but frankly it lasts quite awhile. I don't have to use as much and love the smell. I like the material of those shorts but not how short they are. Love the lilac color. I had watched Andreea Ali's video last week and OMG she used the Dior Backstage blush in Coral and the Dior 5 Couleurs in Coral Paisle. OMG so beautiful. I had to get both. Now I have that great pink in the Dior Backstage blush and this coral is just as wonderful. Wow you listen to some pretty heavy podcasts. Not sure I could get into it but might give it a go. Love to you Lisa as always.

I understand exactly and agree with what you're saying: our mental, emotional and physical self is improved by surrounding ourselves with stuff that supports our personal growth / personal values. I feel so much better and motivated when I am on point - whatever that means to me in this moment. So, no crap - be it a notebook, a pen, clothing or furniture! It's not about being wealthy and affording all the gear - it's about choosing one type of item that gives you huge pleasure to see and use. I was laughing about peeling off the tight, sweaty sports gear - and I can't stand lycra. This was a great chat!

The most wonderful feeling is walking up hills. It's glorious. Walk up Over and over until you don't get out of breath while doing it. It's a real accomplishment and The way the legs feel during this time is delicious.

I love listening to podcasts too. I do it if I am on a car ride.. Jordan Peterson absolutely I’ll have to look up the guy that you talk about with the brain discussions. That sounds fascinating. I tried on those tennis shoes but I thought they looked like too round in the front. You must have a different style I will check them out because when they were on my foot, I looked Clowney. I was just an Anna Maria, and I just felt more alive. I love Sanibel all of those coastal towns!! Someday../also one of my favorite places is the nursery. Every day I strive to look & feel my best! Just last night I meet some friends and they commented on how I dress up all the time and really Lisa I don't, I had on some white Zara jeans and a thrifted top & some wedges, really nothing special; but I guess with this simple outfit I also put on me, my style - it's hard to explain but I know you get it!! I walk in the mornings and my hair gets so frizzy with the humidity I have here in Louisiana. That's what can keep me from walking sometimes. I don't want to have to redo my hair each morning. I do wear my hoodie and that helps sometimes. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks for all the inspiration!

Hi Lisa, I got the Osea lotion today. I raved about the oil and balm kit, but was not sure I'd like the lotion, but I do! It's thin and glides on but still feels so hydrated. I was pleasantly surprised. Honestly don't think I've found better products for hydration like that, so thanks so much for telling us about Osea. 😀
