I’ve got a feeling that Skepta smashed Nash one time and never called her back 💀 She’s moving mad fam
I'm baffed, the production on this album was sick; it had a lot of old school grimy flavours and some new sounds too. Obviously these people aren't there to try and be robotic in how objective they are, but if everyone comes with full bias looking to either hear a rendition of their favourite tune from an old album, then penalize new sounds/flows for not being that, it's never going to get a good review despite being good. Sometimes people are saying he's experimenting too much, other times it's a problem because it sounds like '03 or '07 grime. There was even a point where it was clear nobody was going to like anything further unless tunes wowed people, which Love Me Not did for some. It's weird, there seems to be too much subjectivity clouding judgement. At the end of the day, I'm not entirely sure what criteria stuff is based on to determine what the score is apart from general opinion, but for this album to get 5 or 6/10 compared to all the other albums calls into question the integrity/credibility of the score. Or maybe this is really just a group of friends casually chatting about albums and how much they liked it or not. I could have been naïve in assuming the premise of this show was more than that, but it's bless if it's all just pure biased opinions, I just didn't realize that's what was going on here. I guess the score is particularly why this episode got the disclaimer at the beginning. But 🤷🏾♂️, in the correct settings, the album's a 9.5/10 for me 👀🥤
Nash is hella annoying how can you call this an ''experiment'' project when Konnichiwa was exactly that lol ??? Ignorance is a Bliss is an all round album, hes mixed both grime, rap and mainstream all together and giving a solid body of work how can you not rate that. These lot don't deep albums properly.
