Michelangelo completed the Sistine Chapel ceiling painting alone over four years, and it is one of the greatest masterpieces of the Renaissance. Have you ever wondered about Adam's belly button while looking at the most famous painting of this ceiling painting, "The Creation of Adam"?
Michelangelo drew a belly button on the first human in this painting, which depicts the moment when God created Adam. A being created by God, but still having a belly button? It's a bit strange, isn't it? Is this a simple error? Or is there some intention behind it?
