‘Scratching Scars’ is a hard-hitting, experimental piece based on true events. The story follows Malcolm through the rushed and intense event of his father’s passing. Not only is this world of trauma and loss explored through him, it also dives into the subtle psychological and physical effects it has on his everyday life.
ABOUT THE FILM
75% of mental health problems are established before the age of 24. The aim of this film is to start a discussion and changed young people’s mind sets around speaking up about their mental health. Currently 20% of young people are suffering from a mental health problem.
