  • I am loving my new smart Tefal Cook4Me Connect pressure cooker! As soon as I tiled my kitchen and come back from holiday, I've been using it every day.
Here I share with you the recipes I've been making: Slimming World paella, risotto, spaghetti bolognese, a gammon joint, potato kugel, beef & ale stew, burgers, vegetarian dahl and a packet of mixed vegetable rice.
It cooks meals within minutes and tells my app when it's ready, even if I'm in another room in the house. And it's the complete opposite to a slow cooker, so perfect if you haven't had much time to think about a meal for the family.
Just brown your meat and onions, add the remaining ingredients, lock the lid in place and leave it to do its thing.

Amazingly helpful review! None of the other videos show what its like inside and whether its good for people who already cook from scratch (non-novices). Added to my christmas wish list!

I have recently bought a cook4me and I want to cook a chicken on it's own which I assume I will use the single ingredients menu. I can't see how much liquid to add though ?

Why wouldn't you use a curry paste? Or make your own? Much better than curry powder by itself and if, for some reason you can't use a paste, a combination of curry powder, garam masala, powdered coriander, tumeric powder and other spices fried in a small amount of oil to release the aromatics is really pretty good and easy _and_ you know exactly what's gone into it. And it's definitely going to taste richer than curry powder alone.

Hi there, I have just brought the Tefal cook4me one and was wondering if you can cook your own dishes, such as curry boiled rice etc. Love the way you describe the product, thanks

Been thinking about getting one of these, already have an airfryer in the kitchen. Saw this advertised on Idealworld last night Tefal Cook4me non connect version for £129.99 whilst Amazon have it for £260.... was shocked to see it's £265 for the Connect version... Still I think it's a lot of money for something that's 4 years old in terms of technology. You'd expect it to have come down to a more pricing of £180... which I think if they did, it would bring more customers in and more sales.
However I think the price difference between the non connect version and the connect version doesn't warrant the price hike.

To be honest, after a few recipes, I stopped using the app and would just make my own recipes in it instead.

@@TastefullyVikkie Today decided I was going to purchase the Connect version as Amazon had it up for £265... NOW Amazon have decided to put it up to £283 and Tefal advertise it at £319.99 disgusting! I have got on to Amazon about this price hike

Yes, I believe so. Saw someone had cooked one in the instapot last week. Never heard of one until then funnily enough :) they did it in a pudding basin, not in cloth x

Very good review. Do you find the 'Connect' model useful? (because it is more expensive). I mean, can one use the non-connect version and still look at the app recipes? or does the 'Connect' model helps in other ways?

Glad you found it useful. No, I don't use the app at all anymore and yes, you can look at the app without it :)

Hi I recently purchased this product and although I find the instructions quite easy to follow im a bit unsure about the manual cooking instruction as I have never used a pressure cooker before and wanted to cook some chicken breasts in it but unsure of the timings and how much water to add ?? Where can I find out this info thanks

    • @TastefullyVikkie

When cooking, I think the least amount of water you can use is 200ml but it will auto stop if you don't put enough in.

Think that plastic Tefal garbage is safer than a stove top? I use AllAmerican 910 canner as a daily pressure cooker, guess what, i looks scary as hell, but is the safest ever.

These aren't aerosol cooking oil sprays. It's just a basic pump.
