true story! injuries are defenitly the reason... now he has a personal coach who helps him make his body stronger and the injuries are a lot less and he is in a good form for a long period.

In Barcelona almost all the players are small and technical, while Madrid have the larger flashy players. He's a counter-attacking player, perfect for Real.

Biggest mistake from Real to sell him. Just imagine having Robben on the right flank and Ronaldo on the left. Now 4 years later they bought Bale to replace him, but Bale isn't yet where Robben was back then. Such a shame. Ah well, Robben is laughing. 3 titles, 3 CL finals, few other cups. I agree CR7/Benzema/Robben would make amazing attacking forwards. But Madrid is pretty solid now with Bale and the rest of the squad.

Yeah, they have 1 CL, but we're 5 years on now. In the mean-time Robben has reached 3 finals and won 1 aswell. With Robben in their squad silverware would've come sooner. Robben was the only player that could unravel the Barca defense even at their high-point.

Real sold Huntelaar , Robben , Sneijder , Van Der Vaart and Drenthe (loan) after the 2008-2009 season was done. So that Real could buy Kaka , Benzema and CR7 in the 2009-2010 season. They also sold Robben because he was injured alot of times. Thats why his nickname is : The Man Of Glass :D

To everybody saying that madrid was stupid for selling robben: I'm a madrid fan and we obviously knew that robben is a great player, the problem is that he is made of glass, he is injured 2/3 of the season and 25 million euros for a player you can't use is a good sale in my opinion.If he wasn't made of glass he would be one of the best players in the world, now we've got di maria in that position for the same amount of money, he is as good as robben and he doesn't get injured every month.

Exacto, Robben, un jugadorazo, nunca ha tenido el reconocimiento que merece, es una pena, para mi esta casi al nivel, de Bale y Cristiano (ahora ha bajado pero por lesiones), de Messi un poco cuestionable, pero que pena que a los jugadores holandeses y alemanes, no se les brinde tanto reconocimiento, lo mismo con Muller.

Messi has improved a lot with his right foot, if you think Ronaldo is better than Messi then you know nothing, Ronaldo is an excellent player but Messi is unbelievable, and his stats are far superior, although I tend not to rely on those, as I watch every Barcelona and Real Madrid match and know who is better from seeing them play.
