Out of the big three I like Bleach the most but Soul Society Arc got some bs moments even with like Kenpachis reasons for being not as strong. It's just a statement but Vinland Saga imo when I watched it I was ready to be like this is just overhyped. But it really is that good, season 2 is still great but not as great as season 1 of Vinland Saga. I'm attempting to be objective here too, I personally think Hueco Mundo is better executed (Soul Society Arc strengths are in planting seeds with Aizen the whole conspiracy build up is way better than the fights)
Facts. Like the arc was still good but the pacing wasn’t that good at all, Neji dying and not having a big moment in Part 1 along with Rock Lee was missed opportunity and it dragged on for way too long. I have every arc in Part 1 over the war arc. Pain is EASILY the best arc of shippuden because of how good the buildup was for Pain, Jiriya’s sacrifice and Sage Mode.

Uwufufu kinda cheated cause the 4th great ninja war is more of a saga than a arc, SAGAS are the overarching story that connects across multiple arcs, ARCS have the characters doing different objectives to reach the goal of the SAGA. The goal of the 4th great ninja war SAGA, was to defeat the threat of the Akatsuki once and for all but in that SAGA you have different arcs like fighting the white zetu, then you have the madra fight arc which is the longest in the saga then you have kaguya arc

The exam arc is definitely not too great. Some flashes of greatness, but the first 11 episodes can be a barrier for a lot of people as their is a definite dip/slog to get through. The second half of the Exam is great, though.

Crocodile was very very strong which we found out later on in the series yet lost to a no gears luffy. Byakuya and kenpachi are both very very strong yet lost to a shikai/ new bankai ichigo. After the anime they watched from recent times. It wont hold up anymore. I remember watching and being hooked and telling my friends to watch it back in the day. Rewatching it from reaction channels made me realize how much filler and slow pacing there is. It just doesnt hold up, comes off very low tier.

when cell first arrived, the androids were still looking for goku. That’s when cell found 17 fighting piccolo outside of kame house. It’s the same saga. Same thing with the ginyu force, Frieza called the ginyu force down. It’s all the namek saga.

As someone who tends to prefer Dragon Ball, OP, and HxH over Naruto, they did the Land of Waves arc dirty against Buu Saga; Buu Saga is the weakest arc in all of DBZ, it's mostly fanservice and either does the same things previous arcs did but worse, or just outright goes against previous characterization, meanwhile Land of Waves might be the strongest first major arc to a shonen imo, it does absolutely everything right; establishes and further develops the main characters and their relationships, gives us a deeper introduction into the world, sets up key themes of the story like what it means to be a ninja to Naruto, and the overall plot with Zabuza and Haku was amazing, shit had me tearing up in the end; talk no jutsu was also most effective here bc it came from a place of Naruto's naivety rather than an unrealistic moral high ground. It doesn't let trying to set up the world and characters distract it from telling a great story, might be a hot take but honestly one of my favorite arcs in Naruto as a whole

Out of the big three I like Bleach the most but Soul Society Arc got some bs moments even with like Kenpachis reasons for being not as strong. It's just a statement but Vinland Saga imo when I watched it I was ready to be like this is just overhyped. But it really is that good, season 2 is still great but not as great as season 1 of Vinland Saga. I'm attempting to be objective here too, I personally think Hueco Mundo is better executed (Soul Society Arc strengths are in planting seeds with Aizen the whole conspiracy build up is way better than the fights)

Like the arc was still good but the pacing wasn’t that good at all, Neji dying and not having a big moment in Part 1 along with Rock Lee was missed opportunity and it dragged on for way too long. I have every arc in Part 1 over the war arc. Pain is EASILY the best arc of shippuden because of how good the buildup was for Pain, Jiriya’s sacrifice and Sage Mode.

Uwufufu kinda cheated cause the 4th great ninja war is more of a saga than a arc, SAGAS are the overarching story that connects across multiple arcs, ARCS have the characters doing different objectives to reach the goal of the SAGA. The goal of the 4th great ninja war SAGA, was to defeat the threat of the Akatsuki once and for all but in that SAGA you have different arcs like fighting the white zetu, then you have the madra fight arc which is the longest in the saga then you have kaguya arc

Jojo part 2 has a training "arc" that lasts what 2 episodes max meanwhile hunter exam is all build and training for 20 episodes, Ben and Dyl do not remember anything
The exam arc is definitely not too great. Some flashes of greatness, but the first 11 episodes can be a barrier for a lot of people as their is a definite dip/slog to get through. The second half of the Exam is great, though.

After the anime they watched from recent times. It wont hold up anymore. I remember watching and being hooked and telling my friends to watch it back in the day. Rewatching it from reaction channels made me realize how much filler and slow pacing there is. It just doesnt hold up, comes off very low tier.

when cell first arrived, the androids were still looking for goku. That’s when cell found 17 fighting piccolo outside of kame house. It’s the same saga. Same thing with the ginyu force, Frieza called the ginyu force down. It’s all the namek saga.

As someone who tends to prefer Dragon Ball, OP, and HxH over Naruto, they did the Land of Waves arc dirty against Buu Saga; Buu Saga is the weakest arc in all of DBZ, it's mostly fanservice and either does the same things previous arcs did but worse, or just outright goes against previous characterization, meanwhile Land of Waves might be the strongest first major arc to a shonen imo, it does absolutely everything right; establishes and further develops the main characters and their relationships, gives us a deeper introduction into the world, sets up key themes of the story like what it means to be a ninja to Naruto, and the overall plot with Zabuza and Haku was amazing, shit had me tearing up in the end; talk no jutsu was also most effective here bc it came from a place of Naruto's naivety rather than an unrealistic moral high ground. It doesn't let trying to set up the world and characters distract it from telling a great story, might be a hot take but honestly one of my favorite arcs in Naruto as a whole
