You can view this as you like, but I chose to view the "shadow" and "monsters" mentioned I'm the song as trauma and emorional pain. Akita's trauma is what caused her to want to get revenge on the Ice Emperor and Vex and make them her enemy. They seemed to be a representation, of sorts, of the traumatic event that caused Akita all her pain because they caused it. This is why I decided this song was perfect for Akita
