    Love the boat. But do you make it it in a enclosed cab. It’s the perfect size for a trip to the Bahamas or down to the keys. Generator,AC solar, and a kitchenette and its perfect

    Very intriguing boat! Just curious, what is the creaking noise while sitting there with boat rocking? The seat?

    One thing you don't hear discussed much, twin engine vs single engine with a kicker. With the kicker, you can have a separate FUEL SUPPLY. If something is wrong with your fuel--and it happens, then the twins are both down, but you kicker with a stand alone fuel tank is a good thing. Mind you, it won't take you all that far, but after you call for a tow, you can close the gap to the tow boat, and keep her head to the swell. With twins, yeah, you can drop an anchor and wait, but heading home with the aux engine and fresh gas is better, IMO.

    Nice video,nice boat but in my opinion, the fuel tank capacity is little smaller.

    thoughts on the cabin being open ?? is there a huge difference in temp compared to a cabin you can close?or negligable???

    • @bobjohn2000
      @bobjohn2000 3 года назад +1

      You can get spray curtains that would make it essentially an enclosed cabin.

      @@bobjohn2000 I living on the gulf coast with over 100 degree temps would love to have it enclosed and air condition

    I dont like how the rear of the pilothouse slants back forward, should be 90° angle from floor. There should be a rear wall with a lockable door. Other than that, not a bad looking boat and has a lot going for it.

    just got a boat show quote in MD, $196,000 with trailer and some options. the options are way over priced. Very nice boat though.

    I would’ve gotten this boat but the price and the lack of fishing room this boat has I had to get the new 2020 Parker 25 footer

    • @robertp7209
      @robertp7209 3 года назад +1

      Landon Lonsinger - longer cabin on this boat, queen size berth. Not the case with the Parker, you do get more fishing cockpit on the Parker.

    • @happyfish9803
      @happyfish9803 3 года назад +2

      Mine looks much more fishing room but not as much as the cabin but this boat is also 31 feet so it is gonna be bigger that my 25 foot parks

    • @happyfish9803
      @happyfish9803 3 года назад +3

      + where I live is a much better pick for the oceans with the Parker

    • @robertp7209
      @robertp7209 3 года назад

      Landon Lonsinger - if your Parker has a bracket and pulpit, it’s much longer than 25.

      Beautiful boat but I’m right there with you... 100k for a Parker 2320 fishing machine and a hefty down payment on a new house.

    At 10.33 when you are talking about stringers, (and they do look thick) the chrome rod is screwed into the stringer, now it may be thick enough glass around the stringer so the screws dont penetrate..... but it looks like they could penetrate... if the stringers are whole glass or graphite then it wont matter but if they are normal wood stringers then this is a huge rot problem over time. Dont think I like things crewed into my stringers or transom.

    Cabin is only 5’7”..? So for $200k you can’t stand up straight down below? Hmmm.

    • @derekalexander4030
      @derekalexander4030 4 года назад

      Lol. Unless you are 5’6” or less, not good for most.

    • @robertp7209
      @robertp7209 4 года назад

      Do you mean bridge or cabin? If cabin, typical of pilot house boats - not designed for spacious cabins.

    • @derekalexander4030
      @derekalexander4030 4 года назад +1

      The height directly behind the wheel and the clear height just forward of the wheel where the ceiling drops down.

    • @robertp7209
      @robertp7209 4 года назад

      Derek Alexander - whoa that’s ridiculous. And I consider that the bridge, not cabin. I’m 6ft 1, in my Grady 25 Sailfish my head easily clears the bridge hardtop but also the cabin and even the enclosed head/shower. It was the only 25 ft boat I found that was so accommodating in more ways than one. But then again shorter people live in their own world. My shorter neighbor and I have identical built houses, he finished his basement with a drop ceiling style. I went down to check it out, and when I walked to the rear I banged my head where the main beam runs across the basement. I walked under mine a zillion times plenty of clearance. My beam is just painted black. The problem with making the bridge roof higher is the higher center of gravity is going to make the boat rock more, less stable. Every pilot house style boat has to contend with that. The glass windows and heavy roof - are the cause. With Parker, you step down going into the bridge, don’t care for that either. Parker has a massive roof structure. Had a buddy that optioned a second steering station on his 25 Parker, he never steers from the bridge. And he is under 6ft.

    • @derekalexander4030
      @derekalexander4030 4 года назад

      Thanks, that was my concern. So it’s at least 6’1”.

    err 200k for a 25' boat in the mid tier segment.... sounds... bonkers.

  • @iq6840
    @iq6840 Год назад

    It's got 500 horsepower, it better get out of the whole quick, it's only 25 feet, most 30 footers have that typically. Wish the boating world would go back to deep boats with inboard outboards and free up the transom for swimming or fishing.
