It took 70+ years of "research" to find the serial connection of pickups...:). Still not available from Fender (and others) even on noisy and rather thin-sounding single-coil Jazz Basses and similar 2 pickup instruments... The same is true with Telecaster and even Strat pickups. This industry is so conservative... What I can note here is the too-high value of the tone cap, the tone is becoming too dull at the full Tone pot down position, losing not only harmonics but even basic notes... Plus: tone cap values must be made switchable together with parallel and serial pickup/coils switching (and different in the case of different impedance pickups) - because there is a big difference between 8k (one pickup), 4k (parallel) or 16k (serial) loading (8k pickup impedance just for example).
You should really hear it in person to appreciate it the best. Thanks for watching and for your input! Please feel free to Like, Share and Subscribe to our channel.

Glad you liked it Tony! Grazie! :)
I like that PU selector for all passive basses, co's it gives more tonal options without an active preamp ❤

I'm not sure what I was expecting but it sounds like a low-end Squire or off-brand. Not a jazz or a P and certainly no pizazz for me

No thanks. I'm not into Fender or Fender clones. I prefer 6 or 7 stringers with through-necks and 24 frets or more.
