No one can understand what its like going to school in the rural areas, and to come out with 8 distinctions is a true milestone. We're operating at -30% of where educational standards were 30 years ago. The previous 50% matric pass rate is now lowered to 40%, plus marking the papers kindly shows that so called matrics actually pass at around -10% of past standards. It's a joke. A gift to students who can barely write. Just getting a certificate does not mean you're qualified to enter university, but then again. Same scenario there. So kids - don't be fooled. Properly educated people know the truth. Take books and educate yourselves. This educational system in S.A. is a farce.

These kids got the same exam papers as the white kids in the suburbs, you are just mad that against all the odds being stacked up against them, they managed to get 8 distinctions just like the white kids in the suburbs.
