How to Sort Young Calves off Cows - the Easy Way

Learn a beginner-friendly method of sorting calves off cows. We demonstrate the process and then illustrate mistakes (and fixes) that will help you the first time you try. We use footage of ourselves sorting our Registered South Poll Cattle with voice-over commentary by Stockman JR Jones explaining the process. He also talks you through step-by-step what he is thinking as he uses Effective Stockmanship to pull out two cows and a bull from the group of sorted calves.

Done something similar hanging a panel across a gate at the end of our chute. Calves can walk under and cows go out the chute. Made life a lot easier since we done this!
