- One of my friends, who wanted to learn the song Katyusha, asked me to make this video with slow pronunciation of each line and then singing them with the melody.

Totally off topic: The word крутой caught my ear (used here as steep bank of a river). Watching a movie the other day, one of the characters said крутой мотор meaning from the context "nice motorcycle", I think. "Steep motor" does not make a lot of sense, so I'm guessing this is maybe slang?
(The movie was "Eastern Promises" - about Russian gangsters in London. Rather gory at times, but it has a nice rendition of the song Очи чёрные so maybe we are back on topic after all)
stivosaurus крутой has a few meanings, it may be cool (motor - slang from the movie), a reference to a person who likes to boast and brag, a general exclamation of admiration, hard-boiled (egg) and steep

I want to add just that крутой as a slang, meaning "cool" changes according to genders:

But there is an adverb КРУТО as well, for example,

@@LiveRussian I've almost got it mastered. I have a hard time with the third and fourth versus. You guys are syllables in your words and sentences go very fast it seems and it seems there's extra syllables in your words compared to English words like places where we would be just be using valves to determine if a previous Val was long or short it seems I can Russian a lot of those places actually carries the vowel sounds are too and I don't know if it's going to be short or long. I am getting better though and if you was to watch my video you would laugh at me but I guarantee the next Friday was going to be a lot better cuz I almost couldn't pronounce every word now. I guaranteed the next one will be better because I'll find a different karaoke version that I like and I'm more comfortable with the timing because I could actually sing it a lot better than I do here. For some reason when I got the video rolling I mess up and normally I'm singing along with other people singing in it.
