This load out for the Atlas was a favorite of mine for a long time, despite the amount of hate that the Atlas gets. Yes, in stock form the Atlas is pretty awful, but with love and dedication it can become a formidable force on the field.

I’d love to see you attempt something similar with a double dealer. It’s one of my favorite blasters, but like the atlas, it gets a lot of hate. You can fix a lot of the jaming issues with some work and dedication.

I love this.. Maybe I won't sell my atlas 🤔... I was gunna make some kind of hopper for mine, don't really know how mind lol.... This is a quality alternative though 🙂
a.k.a. Gainesy : Luke Goodman, a.k.a. OutOfDarts, actually had a demo video on an Atlas hopper he was developing. He never finished fine-tuning and thus never sold it, much to my chagrin. The only reason I kept my Atlas was that I hoped the hopper would be available someday.
That said, i'm glad I caught this video.
Would something like this work with the hypnos?
Some of the ldeas, yes. Double checking and improving seals, etc. I've done a few things with my hypnos, but I'm still not happy with it.
All the improvements to the Atlas were made without any increase in spring power and internal wear and tear. I have a feeling the Hypnos (for whatever reason) will require more power. But we'll see. I need to crack it open again.
I've always liked the Atlas. I don't know why it gets so much hate.
that's a really great use case for the atlas. I might need to keep an eye out for them when I come over for endwar. Have you had much difficulty with the seal? My understanding is that one of the other problems that plagued the blaster was the breach not sealing enough unless you really hold the pump all the way forward
The seal is one of the biggest issues with consistency and overall performance. I replaced both the plunger o-ring and the one on the bolt itself. That's definitely a point I want to drive home during the Atlas overview video in the future.

Yes, the Hypnos is next on my list for "optimization".

I don't believe so, unfortunately. It's an entirely different style of loading mech.
However, perhaps there's a slightly different approach? I may have to take another look at it. I've been wanting to get the Hypnos back on the bench anyways...
