The song was written by the excellent singer/songwriter Dermot Henry, who comes from County Sligo, Ireland. The backing music is top class also. It is beautifully sung by the amazing voice of Kate Purcell. Kate comes from County Clare, Ireland, and is one of my all time favourite singers.
