Shin Godzilla works better as a solo movie, if it had a sequel, it was confirmed by the director that it wouldn't be serious like the first one and would become a silly monster battle movie. Even if it kept the serious tone, the 5th form would no longer feels like a Godzilla movie

He comes out the water, he starts swimming to japan and the government and whatever see that he’s swimming, they get alerted. Shin swims and then eventually reaches japan. Shin now destroys the buildings like he used to. The army comes with their tanks thinking shin is weaker cuz he got frozen. They were right. Shin was getting hurt badly and ready to evolve. The army thought they could finish him but the army didn’t realise he was evolving to form 5 ok that’s all I can think of for the theory of shin 2
