STORY TIME! Three years ago I met a guy. Let's call him Marcos. Well, Marcos and I became best friends in less than a week. A year after being best friends, I started having feelings for him. I knew he used to have feelings for me, but I assumed he had moved on since he had recently gotten a girlfriend. Well, his girlfriend hated that he and I were so close, and, somehow, she had figured out I had feelings for him. She told me to stay away from him. He looked so happy with her, and I didn't want to ruin that happiness, so I did what she said. He noticed very quick that I was avoiding him, and tried to connect again, but I didn't say much to him. He and his girlfriend broke up soon after because of me, and I felt terrible. Later in the year, my best friend started to like him. She wasn't aware I was still head over heels for him, so I convinced her to pursue him so she'd be happy. They began dating, and I put a mask on so neither would see that their laughter hurt me. Except, he could see through it sometimes. He knew me inside and out, and it was impossible to hide much from him. Sadly, most of the time he was too distracted by my best friend to notice that much. They dated all through summer, and I just shook the possibility of being in love with him out of my mind. I would've been fine except the way she treated him infuriated me. If they got in a fight (which was almost weekly) she ignored everything he had to say, even if it was an apology. She treated him horribly. One night, he and I were coming home on a bus from a football game. One of our players had been very injured and had to be taken to the hospital. I have a fear of hospitals and ambulances from bad memories, so he held me in his arms the whole way home. I finally came to the conclusion that I was in love with him. Yes, I was in love with Marcos. His hugs gave me butterflies, and even the slightest touch or sentence from him threw me into a blushing frenzy! He and my best friend broke up, and it wasn't pretty. He had really liked her, and repeatedly begged her to take him back, and sometimes she did only to dump him again. I hated it. Once them breaking up became old news, He started talking to me and giving me hugs. One time he even kissed my forehead. I loved it, but we became the talk of our grade. My best friend would say over and over "You could do better" but I didn't think anyone was more perfect than him. Over spring break, we started talking, and started dating in the spring. No one really liked us dating except my other best friend (not the one who dated him). We ignored them though, and now we're still dating to this day. I couldn't be happier with anyone else.

Near the last two weeks of school, I texted her(I'll call her Hazel). I was asking if I should tell GT that I loved him. Hazel responded saying that we would during lunch. I agreed. I counted down the time until that moment. I was so excited to tell him but so scared of rejection. When my friend told him, he was so shocked. And I thought I was too obvious. He later came up to me asking why I liked him. I said "I didn't know." *BUT I REALLY DID KNOW!!* We didn't really have anything more weird until last day of school. We were about to sign yearbooks then Hazel comes up to me and says, "I'm going to go get your Senpai to sign your yearbook!!" The goes off to go find him. I thought she was kidding but *NOPE!* After about a minute and a half to ten minutes, she walks towards me with her friend and guess who was behind them.... GT. OF COURSE. We signed each other's yearbooks and that was it. I wish I could of wrote "I will miss you," or something like that but I wanted to stay secretive(still). It's been about a week and I miss him. We have never gotten to be friends. We barely even talk. I don't have social media so I can't talk to him. All I can do is hope he's in my classes next year. (I've been blushing the whole time I've been writing this so now I shall go have a fangirl attack in the room over.....Bye!! -3* )
