    Dawn was my classmate when I attended Mckinley High School. When I first heard of her death in 1977, I was so sad for her and her family. She was a nice girl. I hope her family can find some kind of closure even though it took this long. God bless.

      @rapman5791 20 часов назад +2

      Not really. Have you been in a nursing home lately. There are a myriad of reasons why someone may be in a nursing home.
      Cancer, Multiple Sclerosis which usually comes on in midlife which a patient may need a wheelchair and has no accessible areas for it at their home.
      Strokes happen to many people in midlife, ALS is another chronic condition someone is in a nursing home. Maybe he was involved in a car crash and sustained broken bones or suffered a traumatic brain injury.
      He was formerly in the U.S. Army reserves, perhaps he was injured while serving his country and now requires 24 hour care.
      He may suffer from Diabetes and is incapable of caring for himself.
      Don’t think that just because he is in his 60’s that it’s inconceivable that he is in a nursing home. As we age we see many people who are the same age as we re and say to ourselves “wow, they are my he, how can that be?” Believe me friend it’s very common.
      Genes play a huge role as well.
      Enjoy the days you have, be thankful you have your health and tell your loved ones how much they mean to you.
      Have a good day my friend.

    He got to live his whole life being free after robbing Dawn of hers. What a shame. Life is so unfair.
    It's great that the killer was finally discovered, though. DNA technology is solving cases left and right!

    🙏😢I’m so glad Dawn’s family can have closure. I’m so sorry she was murdered however, I’m glad her body was found and laid ro rest. Some families never have their loved one’s body returned to them so they can have closure on that part of the tragedy.
    ❓Why didn’t they show Gideon Castro’s face and the footage of his arrest? I only found the original sketch online.
    I’m glad DNA helped secure his arrest. He thought he was gonna live his golden years in a nursing home having other people take care of him.
    Unfortunately, if he did kill her I don’t think justice will be served because of his health. It’s infuriating that her beautiful life was cut short.
