BMW K100 | Tools for wiring, wiring part 1 | Build vlog #15

Where I'm starting to wire the bike up, I thought it would be best show some of the tools I'm going to be using over the next couple of videos.
Lots of people seem to dread wiring or struggle with it, I want to help put this to bed, it's very easy, just time consuming.

Hey mate, at 6:20 when you mention removing the coloured ends off the terminal lugs, I'd recommend against that. Those ends are there for insulation.
You can also buy non insulated lugs, that will function exactly as you'd prefer, they're the same as yours just without the coloured ends!

Hi buddy, I do alway cover these with heat shrink to insulate them again, I just think the coloured ends make it look cheap.

Yes brother keep em coming where u get the 18 gauge multi coloured reel in the box nice little box of colours price lengths of the reels etc 👍 oh 1 more how many tins u use on spraying the engine about to do mine I can only find frost as a supplier for the proper vht paint 👍

Cheers dude, the box of wire was from Amazon. To be honest mate I wouldn't recommend VHT paint, if you can find some 2k high temp paint it will be 10x better, I understand not everyone has a compressor and spray gun though. I think I got through 2 cans though.

@@Eight20 yeah I got a compressor and gun I’m fully loaded in the garage even got a hydraulic lift 😉 vht original I found had good reviews I know u used it so I’ll give the boys a shout in the body shop where we take the trucks 👍
