Ive been making simple fly traps out of plastic bottles with the top cut of and inverted. I just put stinky anaerobic compost tea solution as bait. The water is negatively buoyant so when the flys touch it they sink immediately. One could make several hundred of these in an afternoon and really turn around the fly populations on a farm..limited by how many plastic bottles there are where you live..lol

    Very good explanation about overgrazing!
I hope we can change our ways for the better, in order to be within regenerative circle of earth rather disrupting it.

I think the three cars on the highway really bring into account the Venturi effect.
restriction of movement increases flow 👍😁

If we consider 3-lane traffic where the speed is 15 km / h, then the average speed on one lane must be not 3 times greater, but about 4 times greater, because the intuition and speed of reaction of drivers activating from the side lanes is not continuous, but it jumps, so a good answer is 60 km / h. Regarding Vogel's books, unfortunately, every vein of every microcapillary in the muscles and organs pushes the blood with electromagnetic pulses the heart is only a check valve I give direction and protect against gas

So informative and well explained. I really appreciate your knowledge and effort of explaining this important practice. Thankfully regenerative ag is taking off here in Australia, hopefully it will soon be the norm not the exception.

Another issue is the content of carbon dioxide in the air, if it drops from 400 ppm to 200 ppm, the wheat yield will drop from 8 tons / ha to 4 tons from one ha. The same will happen with grass and other cultivated plants. Whenever there is less carbon, the less growth.

Richard have you ever thought of making children's versions to explain why cows aren't the enemy to climate to counter popular views ? I sent my grandson your short video about how amazing grass is☺rag nor would know all about it ☺

Nicely explained, I work with dairy goats, they should not graze for too long on the same piece, because of their sensitivity to intestinal parasites. We have just bought a piece of land which I am now setting up. I also plant shrubs and trees from which they may eat branches and leaves.

I haven't come and grabbed the free downloads because I am severely disabled and I can never be a farmer, so I am concerned I am costing you money for no gain for you. If there is a gain then I'm happy to help! Thanks for the great video's

A good segue in regenerative ag. Governments pump sustainable but miss the point in the process. Hope this planet saver isn't ultimately legislated out of existence.

Would you classify winter feed making (getting the grass off the land for winter feed) as heavy grazing? I guess the biggest downside on this is the entire field/lot is reset and needs the same amount of days to recover. Winter feed making is one of the biggest challenges we have here if we don't want to 'destroy' the field by overgrazing. If you have the time, can you shed some light on this? Thanks!

I have a problem understanding two things.
The speed of water doesn't say anything about the volume, and should it not be the volume that matters? In the example with the cars, the volume stayed the same while the speed and number of lanes changed. It is not surprising that an oak tree with a much greater cross-sectional area of the trunk than the stem of grass will not have water going through it with the same speed. When I look at the evapotranspiration rates of trees and grass they seem to be similar.
Also, if we are concerned about root exudates, we should look at what is travelling down in the phloem, not what is travelling up in the xylem, right? Photosynthesis can happen at different degrees of efficiency so the amount (even less the speed) of water going up tells us nothing about the amount of sugar produced.
Can somebody explain to me what I am missing?

As above, so below, and don't forget grasses can be harvested many times a year, not once every 40-70 years
