My family loves this song so much, and i returned playing bass guitar. I want to play Dönence for them. Thank you so much for uploading this video. Lots of love from Turkey! Eline sağlık!!
@@mirai_asik Hello, thanks for reaching out! I played a mini part of the song, and even the mini part make them happy so much! It was so precious memory for me, thanks for reaching out again. I wish you the best!!
It is great. Bass lines are amazing. Barış Manço, for me his personality is way more important than his music, great musician of course. It's sad that we will never have an artist like him but somehow comforting. We, Turks, never let him to be forgotten. We will keep listening to his music and follow his footsteps to be a better person. I miss him. He's a real legend. Thanks for the cover.
That was great!!! Easy to learn the slower beginning, then it picked up for a little more of a challenge. The hammer-on's and pull-off's were really perfect. Thanks so much.
Very cool song. I love to listen to music in different languages and/or with local influences/details musically. Thanks for putting me on the Manço track. Truly supercool music.Apparently he was very influential in many countries. From Japan to Arab countries to Europe. Super cool.
Amazing, maşallah! Keep up your incredible playing and uploads, veeery helpful for some beginner bassists out here. Greetings from a fellow Gurbetçi living in Germany. Peace🤟
Correct me if I'm wrong but, I think it's Mançoloji version of the song. It's also on the Sozum meclisten disari y Hal Hal albums , that they are the same, but this version is re-recorded. Which one is better? Well I like them ALL even the live versions. Now, why I'm giving all those information because, I also want to try and record it with my bass :) I wanted to follow the version you've recorded! It's very nice, great job!!
I think you're definitely right about it. I chose this re-recorded version because it sounds a whole lot more like a song. The original is good, but it sometimes feels too empty. and this version is much more complete
I think it's very easy tbh. I just never really made that step to fully learn it. I'm half Turkish so I guess it's easier to me since I'm so familiar with it
Great song, thanks for covering it! Also Kurban's cover of Sarı Çizmeli Mehmet Ağa has a killer bassline if you wanna give it a shot: ruclips.net/video/p6rlmYp2aMs/видео.html
Şu anki bas gitar bilgimle 31. ve 42 ölçü arasını (1:20-1:43) çok iyi çalabiliyorum. İnşallah zamanla ilerlerim.

The studio version is different from the one that's performed live on TV, I learned that one. Still great cover
True. I do prefer the studio version though. The other one feels a little empty at times

Thanks!

it seems very simple but it's not what it seems at all. I've been trying for about 1 hour, I haven't succeeded yet. I'm very sorry.
Maybe not today, but you will be able to do it!

It's a different version of Dönence
