The red carpet rug is absolutely perfect, it completes the room's beauty perfectly. The dressing table, is perfect and it was a brilliant find, as it looks like it was specially designed for this unique carpentry skilled beautiful room.

What a nice getaway albeit short and not relaxing, but a change of scenery is always nice and the pieces you purchased are beautiful. I love the delicate mirror. I’m amazed it wasn’t damaged more after all these years especially the fragile thin pieces that could have easily broken off. Your chateau is the perfect home for these beautiful antiques. ❤

To bad the radiator will be in front of the window ,that writing desk would have been PERFECT nestled in that spot , a cute chair and the view , that would have been beautiful .It seems to me ,and maybe because it on video , it loses some of its wow factor beside the massive fireplace .It is a gorgeous piece of furniture tho for sure

Yes -- it is all worth it --- you are re cherishing items that people loved, worked for, included in their homes because they were appreciated/ adored; the history and fabric of families - now these combined items are your history - just remember they are material items and it is love that ties it all together for your family history..

I also loved watching you guys unload the truck, not in a voyeur way, haha, but that I had a glimpse of Tracy’s house all painted out, just seeing it again reminded me of how new it looks with a new coat! I agree. Try it in front of the window. I think it’s a beautiful piece. If purchased back in the day of the chateau, they may have set it somewhat out in the floor using the light of the window during the day. It’s an important piece. Fill the space between the desk and window with a plant(?) or small table with a vase(?). Love your collective passions. What a lovely group you all are😀
