@Ken Mason exactly apple repair is expensive, the warrranty is still not as fast as same day. ppl need to take a stance like you in the industry, there are ppl just giving away the work with a number 1 from mcdonalds...like come on! The iPhone is 1,000 plus but want to complain about the screen price for the repair...get outta here
Is it necessary to have freezer machine to remove flex cable bracket???? it wasnt needed in iphone X
Compared with iPhone X series, the bracket covering the bottom flex cable bonding area of iPhone 11 Pro Max is relatively wide. It is also adhered by cold adhesive in large amounts. The freezer machine used here can not only separate the bracket from the adhesive efficiently but also protect the OLED from damage.
question: does the bezel feel OEM or is it 1:1 like the OEM bezel. A lot of times with after market screens, the LCD is OEM but the bezel is the only give away because rubbing your fingers on the edges while the assembly is on the phone can you tell. If I rub my thumb or fingers after the screen as been installed will the bezel feel OEM like the one that was taken off?
please can anyone help with this question because I need to purchase all the refurbishing equipment asap and I would like to tackle this problem asap
lots of china copy assembly with OEM lcd but bezel is real bad quality and not 1:1 you can tell its not OEM so whats the point my clients will be able to tell and I dont need this headache

Hi there. Just a quick question why is it so over complicated? So many unnecessary steps added to showcase old fashioned heating station and manual wire cutting of the screen - which is very high risk. Just inside and after freezing frame and glass can be removed there and then so you would get oled out without performing all that. Can you explain why did you enter the house throw the back door when front is wide open :) ? If you know what I mean. Was it just to showcase the heating methods too?

Why do used wire for glass separation
Just use freezer its easy way
The freezer machine is used to remove the cold adhesive adhering the bracket. The cutting wire is used to slice open the OCA/LOCA between glass lens and OLED. It is hard to separate the glass lens with the freezer machine. The difference between the cold adhesive and OCA contributes to two different solutions.
