  • The K. 545 track is my own.. not allowed to record Uchida at the concert. Her playing was magnificent and mellifluous--two Mozart concerti. arioso7.wordpress.com/2024/03...

Sad that students and others are priced out-- awful.. One of my adult students gifted me a ticket....very generous of her.

@@ShirleyKirsten you mean students may find $52 a bit expensive? There is something that I sometimes do these days: I also lived the time when a lunch noodle was $3.50, and now it is $15.0, so sometimes I check how much it is in the past vs now. So the $52 can be like $11 to 16 in the past, which may appear affordable in the past

@@winterheat When I lived in the Central Valley--CA.. .believe it or not.. all piano concerts...were $15 to 20 or so dollars. The big name pianista came through on their way to SF and LA.. so the tix. were really affordable. Seniors and students got major discounts and you could sit anywhere you wanted..So getting there early was advantageous. I heard Perahia, Trifonov.. (took a recording of him and went back stage) and many more.
