We live in a world where everyone is in pursuit of self satisfaction. The world is full of stuff filling one's heart, but our hearts will not be satisfied.
As discples of Messiah Yeshua we are asking for hunger. hunger to pursue God, our Father in heaven, for His nearness!
That thirst pushes us to seek for the living water, we want to wake up and shake off the worldy things make us feel full.
This Hebrew worship song was written by Solu Israel, and filmed in Tel Aviv, Israel.
Tel Aviv is beautiful at night but it is a spiritual desert, JOIN US BAMIDBAR (in the desert😉) crying out for Elohim to pour out hunger on Israel and the nations, to prepare the way for the Lord, to fast and pray until HU YAVO(He comes).

It's important to understand that as believers in Messiah, we already have everything we need for life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3). When we accepted Messiah, we were filled with His presence and blessed with every spiritual blessing (Ephesians 1:3). Yeshua Himself said that if we come to Him, we will never hunger or thirst again (John 6:35). This means that our deepest spiritual needs are already met in Him.
Praying for a hunger to pursue God can sometimes imply that we are lacking something or that we need more of God, which contradicts the truth that we are already complete in Messiah (Colossians 2:10). Instead of asking for more hunger, it might be more appropriate to thank God for the fullness we already have in Him and to ask for a deeper awareness and appreciation of His presence in our lives.

Shalom Shilo. I don’t mean to pry by offering unsolicited advice. Sim banu is a very good song, upbeat, positive. I’m already singing along in my rudimentary Hebrew which is a work in progress. I just thought a short, 4-8 bars, musical interlude somewhere in the middle third would add to it. Maybe just a reiteration of the theme. And I believe Yedidiyah’s skills are under utilized. I apologize for being so forward. Shalom shalom.
