  • One central practice in the Inayatiyya lineage of Sufism, that Hazrat Inayat Khan gave to his disciples, is the Elemental Purification Breath. It is best performed in the morning, right after getting up, outside, or at an open window. In this excerpt from Nature Meditations class five, Pir Zia not only guides you through the different breaths, but also gives additional explanations for each element.
