QUESTION: Thank you Headway Drive for creating and posting your videos. I am originally from the US, but now live on a small island in Honduras called Roatan. Here in Roatan, I have been introduced to vehicle makes and models not available in the US. I recently purchased a 2012 Nissan X-Trail T30, 6 speed, petro, 4x4. The shocks and struts (front and back) need to be replaced. I am considering upgrading to the larger components to lift the vehicle. My question - Will installing these aftermarket shocks and struts cause the need to change other parts, or will everything operate the same? Thank you for your time, Rick
Basically, suspensions and lift coils allow you to lift the car more, but in some cases this may put strain on the drive shaft boot. Please consider creating a bracket to lower the engine a little.
Basically, you can fix it by replacing the lock catch on the seat side, but it will be scraped again, so it will make a strange noise again. Structurally, it is impossible to eliminate noise completely.

can we have permanent solution for this problem, like modified the pin or the bracket

とりあえずガタつく左側だけリピートタイで何度かいい具合探してやってみました。
私の場合は7.2mm幅でもタイの頭じゃない方の穴は若干まだガタつきましたがタイの頭の方は若干一回り大きいためその部分の穴はちょいキツいががたつかず、でした。
あと一回やっただけで金属の削れカスとグリスの複合物が溜まっており手がベトベトになり車内や物に2度と取れなさそうな汚物が付着したり隙間に落ちていったりしそうだった(したかも)まず清掃が最重要に思いましたのでガタついてない右側の方はまたいつか…清掃だけはしようかな？
私の車両も左側だけがカタカタしますね。
刺さるピンに対して受け側が楕円状になっているので、どうしてもずれてしまうんでしょう。
シートの固定ボルトなどを全て緩めてから締め直すと、シート位置が変わるので良くなるかもしれません。
また、検証してみます。

自分は後席より、荷室を広く使いたいといつも考えてます。
背もたれをもう一段起こせれば5cmは稼げそうなんですけどねえ、いや直立しててもいいくらい。 金具が長ければ穴をあけれそうだど足りないもんなあ。
頻繁にシートをリクライニングすると摩耗が早くなりそうです。グリスを塗っておくのは良い考えかもしれません。
確かにシートを直立させることができれば、箱物をキッチリ積めそうです。
ブラケットの製作しかありませんね。
