Hey everybody! I started a raised garden bed company, Gro-Rite! My first product is a beautiful raised garden bed you can assemble in 10 minutes or less. Claim your bed before they are gone - pre-orders are piling up fast and quantities are limited. -> groritegarden.com/launch

Nicely done video and great tips. Personally, instead of starting cuttings (clones) in water or trays, I start them directly in the garden soil where I want the mature plant. That eliminates the extra transplant shock later.

    Hi Justin & Alex
My name is Deborah & my daughter, Jennifer and I visited S&K last week when you were in CA. We met Alex & your dad. They were so helpful and informative!
I LOVE your videos - I’m learning so much from you and certainly enjoy your teaching style. I’m a teacher myself and understand how you have to include an entertainment factor to catch and keep your audience’s attention. You are perfect for that role.
Your nursery is amazing & I look forward to seeing more video content.
I live 2 hours away in Winston Salem and thank goodness I have a daughter and grandson that live in Belmont. I can make more frequent trips to add to my garden.
You having definitely contributed to my new status- I’ve become a PLANT PERSON!
Keep up the good work and I hope to meet you soon.

Hey that’s me! Hey Deborah! Y’all was a absolute treat! It was so much fun trying to piece everything into your car! I hope it got home ok!!! I was supposed to come up to Winston today! (Weather ruined it) but thank you so much for the support! ❤

Oh wow!! It was my treat for sure! Guess what I forgot?? That little cherry tomato plant! I was sad about it and I was hoping it was in Jennifer’s plant stash. Oh well, it’s probably too late for that plant any way. I think it was still on the counter.
      What brings you to Winston?
This weather is nuts- doesn’t even feel like summer.
I watched Justin’s video on hardy Summerific hibiscus. I had no idea that would survive in our zone. I’ve always loved them.
Many many years ago, I purchased a hibiscus- when Jennifer was a baby. It was not a successful experience.
I went shopping for one around here, but couldn’t find it.
Maybe you will still have one the next time an come.
I worked hard to get everything in the ground- it’s going to look amazing!
Thanks for writing back and hope all is still going well.
      Tell Justin hello.
Glad to finally be a PLANT PERSON
      Deborah F from Winston Salem

@@deborahfoster1030 oh no I hate that! I wondered what happened to the little guy 😅
I was going to take my dad to Mt airy to the Andy Griffith museum but the weather was so bad so we went to another museum!
The weather is WILD I have no idea what’s going on haha
Yes they can! We have some in tree form and in 3 gal pots! I sure will tell him! I always try to interact with anyone who wants to chat! Everything is wonderful 😬🤩 same to y’all!
Be on the lookout for something cool coming soon 😎👕

Awesome video Justin. This is a very good way for individuals to teach their children about gardening. It is also a great way to increase production and yield with little monetary output. Thanks for the Mid-week boost! Your videos really bring it my Friend. Cheers!!!

I know this video is a few months old, so a response is probably unlikely, but I have fallen in love with gardening - have definitely become a plant person thanks to your videos. One question I have is how common is propagating? For a garden like George's where there may be 10 plants of the same variety making up a corner in a garden, is it most likely that he bought 3 or 4 and propagated the rest or purchased all 10? Like I said, I've fallen in love with gardening, but trying not to spend 10K my first season :) and just wanted to get a sense of how much I should be propagating if at all.

The trichomes are NOT what turns into roots. Those fine white hairs are oil based trichomes that's it.
